I am working 1/2 days (afternoons) the first week. 6hrs / day the 2nd week, then fulltime, with the ability to adjust by a phone call to insurance if that feels too quick.Pinga are you returning to work full time? The OT in me would suggest a gradual return to work. 2 days the first week , 3 days the next and then hold steady at 4 days a week and see how you do. Be gentle with yourself, but I do know that your work is very demanding and often has crazy hours.
That I can understand then! I'm ok sitting, but hate standing in a crowd and I would pay to have extra space that way. Being short & allergies can make crowds difficult.@ChemGal , I have a bit of claustrophia (or some phobia related to being hemmed in). I do ok in planes as I have to - it is partially why i taught myself to fall asleep on the tarmac and wake when we are landing.
For tonights show, I actually bought an extra ticket knowing the theatre will be full, so that there is no one sitting beside me (and my friend can have the aisle seat).
So, a few bucks extra for a ticket -- no biggie.
Good RTW plan. Might want to try setting a reminder timer on your computer to tell you to get up & walk about a little bit ... can be quite helpful, as one gets immersed in work tasks & forgets about taking breaks. Also - do you have any standing desks? (assuming you are in your workplace & not at home). These can be good for modifying work position - we have a number of them at the hospital - the mobile computer workstations are height adjustable for sitting or standing. The biggest issue that I see is sitting for extended times due to my hips. They just don't like it.
