In the mean times I'll get into the dregs and draughts' ... bottom end? Is there such a thing when you fall into that mystical abyss ... ABBA's?

Imagine an ultimate Ba dass ... Mules among us that will not see and learn from the fu' doff sol! It too is deep ...

Funny start to morning here. Slept in, missed church, didn't give me friend a ride to church, then sister was supposed to stop by for a coffee and a visit, but she elected to merely leave the parcel on my car, so that was also a bit miffy. Ah well, dog needs a long walk and the big guy is making a roast chicken for supper, so the day may end well. Have to struggle my summer tires out of my car, as well.

Good Monday morning! Time to rise and shine! Or at least rise. The Coffee Cart is ready to host your discussions with hot beverages of all kinds, with or without caffeine, and some baked goodies as well. For those who have had a rough-ish weekend, we are here. For all others, we are here, too. Come join in the conversations and support!

Brrr....a real November day here today. I walked to my Mom's (about a 15 minute walk) but needed my husband to drive to pick me up. I usually take on any weather but today...too much wind, rain and brrrr.

Good morning! Tuesday has happened, the day is beginning. November weather, shorts and winter coats on the same day, rough ice in places, busy days with appointments and errands, all sorts of things happening and topics arising. We bring it to the Coffee Cart, where conversation, support, and hot beverages await. All are welcome, come join in!

RB: Are you sure about that statement ... given the state of misunderstanding circulating in this domain due to dislike of intelligence? Knowledge is said to be evil ... biblical from the initiation of the first few words ... thus Satanic Verses? Due to derivation ...

Individuals will abide by such principalities if induced to d so through phobia and paranoia ... thus night descends! Like/as hole in the light ... and alternately the Jutes declared sparks in the darkness as Don or Ron as they run along ... like seasons of time ... and yet few understand classic word(s) ... alien? I would suppose ... mere word play!

Mostly about things poorly grasped mentally ... psychosis vs neurosis! One is a bother or worry the other is blacked out ... censured ... due to inhibition!

Common folk fear even probing there ... such is the cover for the Isle of Wight in the sense of what remains of that battle about 500-600 AD! Such chaos ...

There you find a place called Cowes and a bridge called Wootton as you can do some script upon ... thus spanning what's in mind with what's on the page ...

Indelible?

I watched the Giller Prize last night...It is always a highlight for me because I love to love readers and writers! Weird though...the protest. How did those people get in anyway? I'm going to the local production of "Fiddler on the Roof" at the end of this month. Will there be protests there too?

About what? Palestine or something domestic? Thought the Gillers were invitation only and us common folk had to watch it on TV.

Good morning! Just kind of plugging away at work. Planning our winter vacation. Got a cruise booked but looking into flights now.

Anti Israel. The only sign I saw was an upside down one that blamed Scotiabank for supporting genocide. The CBC cameras quickly panned the audience and the musicians instead. At first, I thought it was scripted and then there would be some kind of joke. (Most jokes were a little lame last night.) When the cameras panned the audience, they looked very serious; and the musicians looked dramatically nervous. Again...I thought it was scripted! And...why an upside down sign? The protesters interrupted twice...the final one just as the winner was announced. I support the right to protest but this just seemed it's own kind of rude and uncaring.

Protesting in the 21st century seems to have no boundaries. I still don't get how vandalizing art is a protest against climate change. It's not like it is getting them positive buzz or anything. Comes across as idiot kids using the cause as an excuse for idiot kid behaviour.

The story of 'the chair' continues in my family. My husband still won't sit on the new one but I quite like it. He spent several days puzzling over and then fixing the old one. It looks as good as new now! But he is keeping it in the basement. Imagine my surprise when I rounded the corner in the basement to see him sitting happily in the repaired chair. I laughed so hard! And he joined in.
