Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

With unseen administration that often has no idea of need of folk beneath them will blindness emerge? Fiasco is the future ... parties of political nature support this ... in chaos you can accomplish a lot of self-centered activity! Thus globular nature of the cosmos ...

What do you do when you are waiting?

Knit. Read. Something.

I am an ok at waiting, until someone or some thing is over due or late.

I have found waiting or not getting an answer when expected more of a challenge in the last few years. It's funny my cancer diagnosis made me more patient and empathetic in some ways and much less patient in others.

Sitting in the hospital room. Things are ok. Hoping tomorrow is a good day.
Sister has decided on a place. Hoping tomorrow is a good day for her.

Thankful that both are recovering, slowly but surely. 2023 has not been the best year.

Good morning! We have made it to another Friday. Conversations about medical placements, acronyms for health care, and what to do while you wait for things to be done, as well as other topics and themes, are ongoing. The Coffee Cart is up and ready to host these and other chats. Let us gather 'round in spirit, for hot beverages, conversation, support, ad community. All is ready, come join in.

What to do when waiting?

Stare into deep space and try and arrange yourself for unknowns to arrive ... some do not believe in such deficiencies ... displaced intelligence?

And we puzzle over how such naivete impacts us ... ordinary summations and integrals in the real world and the the virtue drives through ... as unreal particles! Bosons ... in a buzz! A dark cloud of doubt ... resembling things under midnight son ... with 6 fete under ... bug gah! Tormenting Buddha?

Hugs @JayneWonders …lots that is heavy on your heart these days. I am currently sitting on a new and rather expensive easy chair. It is to replace the one my husband usually sits on which broke a week ago. Thinking of him and his current health issues I bought a replacement. It needs to be plugged in! No more fighting to get the leg rest up or down unless the power goes out. But my stubborn husband says he’ll never use it. So I guess I have a new chair.

No @JayneWonders -- I have a sense of humour that does me well...I've shared pictures of the chair to my three kids and they know their dad's stubborn streak. So..they say they can hardly wait to try the chair out! We may eventually wear him down.
I'll bet he give in eventually. What's a man without a chair to lounge in while watching sports or whatever?

Good morning! For medical situations, new chairs, and music, and everything else that comes up today, the Room is ready, and the Coffee Cart is up and running. As we observe Remembrance Day, let us pause in a moment of silence and reflect.
All is ready, come on in and join the conversations.

Love it, Luce, just the right music for Remembrance day.
Which one in the crowd are you?

I am in the background as usual ... mostly because I lived in an environment that told be I was not to sing or understand much. Then at almost 60 I discovered gifts of ineffable nature. That's a' priori containment of understanding! I'm waiting on escape ... so as to get out from under misunderstanding covers!

It is too bad we didn't have means of better sound recording ... the video doesn't do the item justice ... the group sounds really good in person!

I love the idea of a pub choir!
I had this thread running back before the pandemic. It's pub choir on steroids, though I have not checked back in on them in a while. C-19 restrictions kind of crimped their style for a while.

It rained heavily through the night and has eased up to a light rain. We had wind warnings yesterday. We're in a sheltered site so didn't feel it.

The rain is nice after the drought of the summer. It is November after all too.

I have a good book and good coffee. :)

We have sunshine at the moment. Still pretty cold though...Heading out for a walk to the grocery story in a minute, so will bundle up. I bought myself a new hat and mittens. They are both so cute and look so warm BUT...the hat won't stay on my head. I have a goal to outwit the hat though and will determine different ways to wear it so that it will stay on. It won't look cute any more but I'll settle for warm.
