Well, one of the best.
(plus being able to see family, including pets, during the day)

Also, being able to do a load of laundry, and hang it on the line.
In the winter, whipping up some muffins or other baked goods.
Marinating what you are going to have for dinner.

Actually, I haven't been finding it that humid yet. I am using my back deck as an office today (no meetings, just plugging away on a project) and not finding it too bad. It is getting hot as the day wears on but there's a breeze.

Just looked at Environment Canada and the weather looks dicey after today. 30-40% chance of showers through the long weekend.
Too chilly here! Maybe possible to sit out just for a break, not warm enough to do desk work outdoors.

Funeral for my Grandma will be Thursday next week, able to have 11 family members as 10 plus one arranging the streaming. 1 of 3 of us grandchildren will be there, sucks, although my sister and I can stream real time.
2 generations above don't have great online contact info. Lots of address books that are less helpful for sending links timely. Facebook helps, I added a 2nd cousin a while ago. We got along well at weddings, I haven't spent that much time with her in person though. Nice to have her online we both love being aunties and our nephews are 3rd cousin 'twins', born hours apart. She has been helpful with online contact info.

Plenty of disappointed folks in SK. The long anticipated camping season has burst on the scene with snow, rain, freezing rain etc..
This was to be the weekend of much achievement for a son who recently bought a long empty house and very neglected, overgrown yard. The theory was 'lots of help from family members'. We were told to stay home. The younger outside workers chickened out (not surprisingly). Several people are attacking the house, which needs a bit of a re do. Patching and painting and carpet removal going on right now. I spent the morning making hamburger buns and rhubarb cranberry muffins for easy eating, that we'll take tomorrow.

20 years ago, who would have thought people would have found out how to 'attend' their aunt's funeral due to 2nd cousins connected on facebook? I'm hoping all the close family can join online if they want. My Grandma doesn't have a lot of relatives still living on her side from what I know, but my grandpa has multiple siblings., some will likely be t here in person. There's a lot of people I have met and know names but don't really understand My Dad's side there's a number where I would call them Great Aunt name, Great Uncle name, etc. My mom's side, less so. My grandpa's sister was my grandma's 1 visitor for a while as it was actually requested she have someone travel from one hospital to another for tests and there was issues with who was willing and able. I didn't realize that was his sister! It should click in though as my mom called them uncle and aunt when we were kids. I'm not really sure when she dropped the titles, but she did at some point. Living in a different province from all of these people hasn't helped.

Good morning! As weather stumbles along toward summer, as folks continue to discover the plusses and minuses of working from home, and the frustrations of funeral arrangements during a pandemic arise (as well as over the delayed camping season) Let us find comfort and conversation around the coffee cart, Enjoy.

KR in great chaos about quanta? Queue 've omega Andes? Perhaps Alexander rations ... wee bits and chitz in sum ... collateral integrals!

Demon aches ... beyond authority due to dissociation factors ... Planck? The beam extends ... for jumpers ...

Damn, is he in trouble if one of those rocks, or the slope, gives out.

Got the grass cut just ahead of a shower. 30-40% risk of showers everyday until Thursday so wanted to get it done while things were still dry. My timing was perfect.

Good morning! Happy Pentecost! As we mark rainfall and sunshine and everything in between, as we ponder unique trailer stabilization situaions, let us gather round the cart and partake of hot beverages. The liturgical colour today is red, thus we use the red china. Enjoy.

Is Red China a MS Noma?

A vessel beginning to glow in the warming spectra ... opposite the lady in blue that remains kohl ... Frozen in time?

Sometimes just indigo doodling ... eh đude? Perhaps even as poly etude in a vast Eire field ... strange stretches that intimidate the fixated and stoic institutionalized! Change is insane? Indelible virtue ...

Good Morning, world! Happy Victoria Day. How do you plan to mark the day? My plans include starting with coffee...
Anyway the coffee cart is up and running, to fill your virtual hot beverage needs. Help yourself.

Good morning. People are packing up and leaving the park after a weekend marking the beginning of summer. Most were well behaved. There was some partying last night. A trailer left around 1230 hours. A trailer was missing from the tenting area, along with some tents. Perhaps that was the party. At any rate, our day includes R&R. Likely knitting and Netflix. It's starting out dreary

There were fireworks at the country subdivision a mile or so away until about 10pm last night, but, then, our next door neighbour decided to set all of their fireworks from 11ish to after midnight.

Dog didn't mind the first set, but, the ones right next door, he came a running. Wasn't too disturbed, just wasn't sure. He ended up going upstairs to bed and was fine.

I slept in this morning -- woke up at 5am, and decided to lay my head back down, and before you know it, it was 9:30am. I haven't done that for a while, but, it was cool, and I was out cold.
Appreciated the coffee, RedBaron. Had a couple, and just having an overall lazy day

I have not heard much fireworks around here so far. A few bangs here and there at night. Not complaining.
