Thank-you. I had to realize that she made an error, like anyone can. She was kind all day. That goes a long way. Her error was in transferring info to me, not in treatment.

I was able to reach out to others and get correct information. Thankfully.

Good morning! For happy dogs and jealous dogs, for family members' health, for the sadness of learning of qwerty's passing, for all the other big or small things that come to find, we come to the Room and gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart, for hot beverages of all types, for conversation, community, and support. All is ready, come and join in.

Hello All
Say hello to my Summer Plumage
Megaera's beard is shorn
Trying out *shudder* shaving again
The barber sprayed this nice smelling stuff on me to keep the bleeding down?
Anyway, feeling more cold now lol

Summer is coming early here

Enjoy things
Keep on keepin on
Always keep your towel handy
And keep the lasagna flying

I sometimes wonder if I should cut my hair off, but other people like it, and all I really have to do with it at present, is keep it braided/ponytailed, and un-dreaded.

The big guy is trying out a mustache/goatee combo and shorter hair, which is fine, except that his hair is kinda wavy and floppy when it's longer, which I sorta like. He has fun, cares about this stuff, and has a little local Russian lady who does his hair (and his feet, like toenails, etc.).

Good morning! Summer beard(less) styles, seasonal hair designs, experiments with facial hair and any other things that come to mind, we're here for it. Let us gather round the Coffee Cart to begin the weekend right, with conversation, camaraderie, and hot beverages. All is ready, come on in!

Good morning.

May the sound of a bird catch your attention
May the feel of the air on your skin make you remember you are alive

And not skinned alive by that avarice ... as suggested in the Boomerang Song ... once nailed, it just has trouble in return to normal ... as normal is often disputed as a myth in itself ... folks form edifices have trouble with such context! Thus eddies, stirs and other odd, great sows as in the Fundy! (Passamaquoddy to be more accurate) sic? It too reaches down under ... subtle or hypo?

There b bairn dore skates ... gliding along ... some reference than as Ra's!

So last night I am sitting in the den reading on a tablet and something zings by me, bounces off the wall, and lands. I jump a little, because we have occasionally had wasps sneak in during the spring when the screens out for cleaning. However, this was a rather bizarre, flat, shield-shaped bug. I think it is a variety of stinkbug. I terminated it with extreme prejudice, given that a similar bug gave me a rather painful bite a couple years. I also had a tiny spider for company but I am more forgiving of those.

Stinkbugs are said to raise onerous thoughts ... as brae inf arts ... very creative! Some religious systems manufacture hate from such affiliations ... then there is the alien love of communion and word utility! It is not utilitarian to many that have slipped into oblivious process ... pragmatism? Some James pushed the ideal ...

I have been meeting in the halls people who are visiting a man a few rooms up. Last night I helped what appeared to be his young children and aunt find their way out. Young lad was quite sad.

Today, in the family room, there were multiple family members who were talking and explaining and some were sad. Multi generational. Mom/dad. Siblings, etc.

They were wearing clothing indicating Muslim and language was not English. We smiled. I suggested they pull another chair out, etc.

Just normal behavior when you are in a hospital. Families help each other.

A man came in and sat in a chair next to me.

When the family left, he made a rude remark. He then said to me " i thought they would never shut up".

There was no question, by his disdain, this was a racist or in his stress he was racist.

I shut him down. Said they were just a family worried about a sick loved one.
Still, racism exists in subtle and not so subtle ways

I've seen similar responses when Indigenous families visit their loved one in hospital. I was there once and a family had KFC and were there for their family member. They were respectful and not disruptive at all. I thought it was great they came as a family. I don't know the specifics. I suspect it was not a "routine" hospitalization
