Far out buzz like something in the pines ... quite alien and alone ... as knowledge is disliked and eliminated!

Some of the detached is considerably disturbing as turbulent flow ... expect eddies and sows, beyond comprehension until suffering etude, demanding some looking into ... that will be resisted by those troubled unconsciously by what they did and covered up fore ... you know ... prior!

No great screw-up? That's human as unaccepted flaw! Solution: deny it ... faeces? You can bet on the fact that id'll come up somewhere ... some expressions will be foul ... like :(, familiar? Expect squawks ... because all is not right regardless of the righteous claims ...

Dichotomy is said to be good for learning as is enigma ... a mystery personalized? Ponder the cosmological stir ... stone soup? Hard constants are doubtful ... except that space time goes round all the time ... religious science? Falsifiable????

Then try stopping it ... worth a myth or more ..

Good morning. Looks like our world is getting a little more spring-like. I plan to watch the leaves on the trees bud this week...always a happy time. This is birthday week: great nephew yesterday, two grandsons later this week, and one son next Sunday. Our family birthdays tend to fall mostly in three months: May, August and September.

Good morning. The bird choir is performing outside our window. I'm not sure what today will bring yet. Mr Northwind is heading over to the RV dealer this morning. We came here specifically to get warranty work done on the trailer. One item is pretty big, hydraulics for the jacks and slide(s). The hydraulics have been leaking so have to be replaced. The trailer was at the dealer overnight Thursday and Friday. Late Friday afternoon we learned they had not fixed the hydraulics because they ordered the wrong part. The new part will take four weeks to come in. We leave here on May 22. We are not happy to say the least. They do not seem to appreciate that we came quite a distance to have this work done. I haven't seen hubby kick into this kind of assertive very often. It doesn't help that we've been hearing stories about this dealer since we got here. Not good stories.

Good, honest mechanics and dealers are not easy to find, eh. Hope you get this sorted. Definitely sounds like a "time to get cranky" situation.

I've kind of lucked out with my cars. We have a good, reliable shop around the corner from my office that the office's fleet manager even uses for company vehicles. And my Honda dealer isn't too awful either (I know a manager there so could easily raise a stink if I had to).

This has been a good dealer. Still, it's frustrating. Getting this repair was the main purpose of this trip. This has also been expensive. Hopefully they will understand better after hubby talks to them and that they will make it right

So hubby spoke to the service manager. It sounds like he listened and will look into it. Hubby felt he was acknowledged. The service manager will phone hubby when he knows more. Apparently the right part was ordered and the wrong part sent. If the sender sends wrong parts, then the receiver needs to check before the customer comes from the island.

I was within walking distance to a fire. Chemguy is watching air quality and evacuation areas as he directs people, he was working unexpectedly on the weekend because of where somefirrs were. I have local air quality alerts set up on my phone because poor air quality does trigger throat swells.
Oddly sometimes the sky is orange from fires, but the air quality is still good, it depends on where the smoke is.

I'm really grateful that despite the fires, air quality has been pretty good. From today, screenshot shared, yesterday was pretty similar, I saw one number in the red.

We have hsd some rain today, after the screenshot hopefully that's helping in areas with fires too. It comes in waves, nothing and then suddenly a downpour for 10 minutes or so and then it stops, has happened 3x so far this afternoon.

Conditions are right for most of the province to get funnel clouds and at least one was spotted.
Hopefully we can get some nice weather with healthy moisture levels soon!

I heard there are actually people who believe the fires were deliberately set by some liberal or ndp cabal to push the climate change agenda.

That is so awful. I don't understand how people can be so blind to the fact that our climate has changed in our short lifetimes. Since I was in my 20s, the hardiness zone of my region has gone from 5A to 5B. Those aren't "made up" numbers.

I've heard that too. Unfortunately a number were human caused but probably due to recklessness.

Good morning! For those who wait for trailer parts and find plans frustrated through no fault of their own, we commiserate. For those who have nothing better to do than come up with conspiracy theories about wildfires, we go 'Hmmmmm,' then maybe nod politely and slowly back away. For these and other topics, the Coffee Cart is ready to host discussions, and provide hot beverages. All is ready, come on in.

Is recklessness associated with ignoramuses ... when all muse are denied and only the furies embraced on one side of the triangle ... 2 ouda 3?

Yet some say there is no naivete they know more than what is virtue ... for truth is not to be seen in a world that depends on the best lies ... there that's spit out of a tight spot ... anal? Thus analysed ... powers hate that function ... cover it up is the word ... Catz? Thus that expression as they have in in the kitty which is really a pig in heaven of belief ... hang ontuit! Kath Erin ... Kate' Seville ... a sign or icon as intimated? That's sacred or Gnostic to the thoroughly secular believers ... physis? That Fitz ... read some of Joies ... I like it ... Je Aimes ... Amy is the point ... a drawing concern! Prior to druid ...

On is one position "in" is not that when you've go down ... swallowed ... thus everything goes and we know not why ... aqui? The weak heal ... Tae Aquila ... it too has a worm in it ...

DR, Heal thyself ... and ancient ringing ... turn about and look at what you've done ... in the future walk softly ... through the night that' sol over! Something of metaphor or alternate ego ... psychosis? Better carry a light ... give the downs a lift ... part of the burning man ... a spark? Staged gamma ... mysterious to say least ...

Abstract from there's mores ... distant whines ... more like wiz purse ... drawstrings? Therein the poke ... difficult to get there without connections ... Burke thing!

Agreed, people are stupid. And in all fairness to some level of stupidity, May (the month that generally follows "April Showers"), even in wildfire country, seems a little early for the season to start.

This is definitely an early start to the wildfire season. The fact we even have a "wildfire season" is a concern.

Someone posted a photo of dumbasses shooting off fireworks in GP the other night. There is a fire ban in effect. About six houses burned down in two weeks. Fortunately the fireworks didn't cause a fire

Agreed, but there are probably parts of Canada that have natural wildfires regularly. It's the only way a lot of pines can reproduce, of course. It's humans getting in the way of wildfire zones that were an original problem, in some ways. It's like choosing to live on a flood plain, a techtonic plate, a hurricane alley. Climate change has made what might have appeared slightly foolish choices more catastrophic.
