Yes, and also women's rights are being stripped by the current regime in the White House. They are also attacking vulnerable minorities.

How does that align with the teachings of Jesus.

Are you referring to Trump's opposition to the right of mothers to murder our unborn daughters,
women who callously disregard the issue of when a fetus becomes ensouled with an et eternal destiny?
For this reason, from the first century on, the Church opposed abortion.

Illegal aliens are breaking the law and Trump, with the support of the American people, is rightly rounding them up for just deportation
Becoming an American is a privilege, not a right. Iustice requires that illegal aliens get in line and apply to immigrate like other laew-abiding foreigners.

Here's another reminder: Jesus taught the Jews to obey Roman law and never complained about His disagreements with these laws.
His disciple Peter knew Jesus' teaching better than you do. And Peter teaches that Roman laws intended to maintain social order must be obeyed:

'Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right (1 Peter 2 :13-14)."
 
We are witnessing exactly the same dynamics that are seen in domestic violence on the world stage. The felon and his sidekick are the abuser while Zelensky/Ukraine are the battered spouse. Kudos to Zelensky for maintaining his dignity under that attack.

The Bulwark (video above) is former Republicans who are challenging the regime.
 
I often wonder about vanity, and pride in God's name whereas there is some ancient leaning towards humility!

Where did we see humility today ... in raised voices and condescending comments about dress code in the presence of the American Gods?

You're addressing a man who has expressed contempt for this entire community multiple times as if he's the reasonable one.

Berserk is an a**hole. That's just the most accurate summary I can provide. He wants to talk down to us and lecture us. And we let him. And when he gets rejected, we blame those who reject him? He'd like that.

We need to do a better job of recognizing when we're being played. We suck at that.

Would the woman Isis be dark as the sense of Bathsheba settling on the roof belonging to David and his de vot' parts? The (' or yod in Hebrew substitutes for a space). It in like form be spatial ... ONE must know a lot of icons and signs ... thus symbologists that are scorned by those wishing to remain out of it ...

Discussion of the values and their application is supposed to happen in News & Business so lets move this there if we are going to discuss it. But Mystic has been around since WC Classic (where the Berserk name comes from) and somehow has always skirted the line without going far enough over or something like that.

Look, if telling someone that their child died because they didn't pray right doesn't get you kicked out, then nothing does.

I don't know what sort of community you think we have, DL. There's a fair bit of hostility around here with or without Berserk. You don't help sometimes with your wyrd mansplaining, and I know my temper doesn't help.

There are people here whom I have met and love. There are people here with whom I would not choose to share physical space.

I wonder sometimes if Western Christian Culture isn't so immersed in patriarchy, that they simply cannot imagine goddess worship. And strangely enough, though the RCC entertains a Mary worship that is almost goddess-like, they overwhelm it with their patriarchal structure.
