It was good, again. The pastor talked about the shepherd finding the one sheep - and how every human being has gone astray at times, and we are all like that one sheep. He's quite universalist. He also talked about being humble - not something we are taught to strive for - how the Kingdom of God represents the opposite of our ambitions and behaviours much of the time. And he talked about how he has a tendency to judge people on their footwear (he joked).

Richard sees poetry as prayer. He says we all have a poem inside to be released. He was interesting to listen to and sounds like his work helping folks with addictions is very valuable.

That sounds cool...how interesting that Bette just came from out here (as did you...I forgot to mention that to her).
 
I think worship went well. At least that's what people told me after the service. I led the worship - first time in my home church, first time to a congregation of over a hundred. I gave a message for Peace Sunday on Peace through Justice as opposed to Peace through power and conquest.
The congregation was with me. They responded, laughing in the right places; embarrassing me with compliments during coffee time. It is good to know that I can do a good job bringing the word of God to the people.

I'm trying to figure out where you are. Bette has travelled west to the coast and is now heading back. Rev.John is in Newfoundland in the east.

Hopefully you had good sturdy hiking boots on!!
 
I did not go to church today. I got up and made an oven blueberry pancake and rode on my indoor bike while it baked. Put the dishwasher on, then laundry (actually 2 loads) spoke with my traveling niece and got an address so mailed out her birthday present and a small gift to another niece. Did some round loom knitting. Put on my prayer shawl and prayed a bit. It met my needs for today.

I led worship today at a cute little country church...I haven't been there in quite awhile and was pleased to feel comfortable and welcomed. The funny thing is that I found an old poem when I was helping my sister clean out church files, and I read part of it during the message. THEN, I finished the poem by writing my own lines of rhyme. Everyone was good natured about my attempt at poetry but probably agreed with me that I shouldn't quit my day job!

Well po' eM I'z sol ... that resonates ... one foot after the other in long strings of wanderers ... cent ipae Dei-ya' ... as part of the later from Ipanema? Symbiotic ... personification of bugs ... these may be found as bugs in the human control gland of emotions ... bra'en ... a large gonad? God spell variance ... sometimes the "d" is silent ... as knowledge of "ð" in these times of suppression of mythical histoire ... all things should be inquired into ... as they may have an obtuse side due to shyness about constant application of guild about moderate concerns of natural things that some powers appear to hate with a passion ... like environmental stirs ... demons, vortex, or just dervish .. as some ancient thinkers struggled against the animas in them ... where de "eL" was silently burning ... only mentally can this sink in as a foreign enigma ... a puzzle of what's out there and what is not even searching. Status quo is good for them on top? Good for utility? Questionable ...

Dark puzzles may appear in ink'n and blink'n ...
