So you reject his doctors' medical tests for diabetes that led them to pronounce Joe cured?
If he switched to a standard diet or ate a bunch of cake/sweets, or became slovenly would his sugar spike. If so, he is not cured.

Absolutely, he has dropped it off the charts and won't need meds. To prove he was cured, he would eat like others who have never had type 2 and continue to have low blood sugars.

To be fair, @JayneWonders hasn't seen the actual medical report, only a third-hand story of what it said.

AHHH! In the Theory of Everything evolves a narrative of things that are and counter to things that aren't as they come to be shot full of hole things ... wholly? As apothecary of illicit information, as I was not classed as professional, there is a world of further information that stands down in light of much powerful ranting about how things are ... counter to what isn't and thus folk like me observing from out there (out of the box?) from the objective view looking back and acquaintances say I'm done, gone, far-out. Accept everything ... swallow only what is required of you! Shakespeare declared it Toby or not and Tobias was considered as doubtful ... there's a lot in a label vs a entitles Nebo!

Now take the glucose twin dextrose; much cheaper to produce, yet not metabolized in the bloodstream but only in the liver at considerable side effect ... like other excessive organics ... why life itself kills us! Said to be temporal in some themes and leagues as stacked against a singularity ... thus the myth of people knowing eternal collectives when such is like a broken people ... scattered as moral and limited thoughts! One has to go a great distance to observe it behind as his Tory ... generally denied based on modern Christianity of due conflict. The conflict may be illustrated in an image of chimera 'L claws ... sequestration and grip of slick things in the wad Eras.

Tis all min over matter as if there was nothing up there and thus thoughts, data and intelligence is drawn in ... drew ides? This too may be edit dead ... by those not disseminating adequately ... thus darker glow of Ra! It happens toward midnight under that peculiar glowing ideology ...

Then as I am denied by many determined circles ... I am considered a winger ... dunne gone off his rock era ... Eire? If one retreats under a rock ... does it prove depth to the superficial facets? May the tattoo go on as the Heidi one likes the dance in the mountain tops ... down in Georgia they belief in rock candy and do a lot of bashing about ... then there is the hole in that hard place inna swamp ... ba Loons or bubbles in the night ... capt Shawned ... sheer expletives like OHC Amon and Marie La VO said eeeeeaaa another man dunn gone ... into the matter that surrounds nothing! Tis of the essence I was informed ... un questionable? I doubt that if the ignored ideology wished to be raised ... it will! That's my word ... always said to be wrong by my entitled friends who when found in error wish to put me down ... thus this crypt is laid out in code ... Northrup Frye spoke about how a great accrued linguistic is virtually unknown because of our our desire to know nothing ... and there it is full-blown emotional outburst as a bust ... then those ghost writers in the sky singing Yippee eeeeaaaa OH as they R.I.P. D*bai ... another nar ration ... found in dark and closed tomes ... a passion to die for to open it up to the joy and pain of living? DAS har ð ... that last letter once known as "eth" therein the past! Wispy or nebulous information that settles down ...

Homos pun as heterogenic? An English turn in linguistics ... homei spin down through the diabolical vortex ... as intimated ... that's clue Din! Dashed if you dare be in sayen ide ... tis crazy as the teas cuppers ...

Scuppers are drain holes at the deck line ... the canon ports lie below ... just to release Bull!

Speaking of lab tests.

There is the A1C which tells us about our blood sugar control over the last few months. A very well controlled diabetic might be in the normal (non diabetic range.) This is not a realistic target for many of us.

Diabetes is sometimes controlled with diet and exercise alone.

Then there is the glucose tolerance test which is normally done for diagnostic purposes. It seems unlikely to me than Mystic's friend would have had this repeated but who knows? Maybe he had a GTT and it was normal.

There is the possibility his diabetes was medication induced in the first place. In some cases this is reversible if the medication is stopped.

Or did he lose weight on the vegan diet? This can make a big difference too.

Lots of unknowns as @Redbaron said.

Imagine is exercise burns sugar what a restless mind would do spontaneously ... then some say the brain and liver are great expenders of energy ... and we wonder how that energy dissipates ... Sabean questions ...

Sah being head ... thus head time ... and we go there in relief ... gouge Din? A story untold ... no toad, no drag ... UN towed ... censored as Thor from the initialized cut ... then your out ...

On a different note, our local GT has not had frozen raspberries since before Christmas. Strawberries, blueberries, etc are present.

Anyone else seeing any challenges getting frozen raspberries

Other than his vegan diet, he consumes quite a bit of sugar. As I said, his vegan diet also cured his neuropathy.

I found many years ago they became less common. Started with the ones in syrup which I liked for dessert on spounge cake. Not sure why so many brands dropped them. Since other frozen fruit options increased I don't really miss them much.

Raspberries are difficult to harvest commercially. When we grew them most of the crop was picked by the customers.
Picking raspberries used to be the first job many of us had. Just nasty being covered in scratches, enduring scorching heat and making maybe 25 cents a for a 4 qt. basket. I don't think anyone lasted long.
@JayneWonders Do you remember Berry's berry farm on West River Road? There.

Most of our pickers picked for their own use. We charged by the ice cream pail. Some picked two for us, one for them, mostly older women who grew up almost living off the land. They loved picking all the berries except strawberries (too hard on the back). Youngsters often got weeding to do and potato picking.

My first job (not counting baby sitting) was picking tomatoes and peaches in leamington for Heinz and Pyramid Canners, when I was 14. It was 25 cents a basket, and the baskets were around 3ft high. Very hot work.

One of our supermarkets (Super-1) has all the fresh raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries you could want. I'm a berryaholic!

You and me both. I have berries on my cereal pretty much every morning.

I go berry picking in season. Can I make you jealous? I pay $1.60 a quart for strawberries, $1.70 a pint for raspberries and $1.75 a pound for blueberries.
