What exactly do ordinary people not know ... given the attitude of those up there in power?

I've been told so many times that knowledge is dangerous and we shouldn't know!

Can you imagine who this knowledge presents to as dangerous? Can such effects diminish the outcome of humanity? Thus humbled ... rendered and all that ... and nearly out of sight as we get to the fringe value ... then we jump!

not unexpected, but for those who know Cambridge (Galt), the Grand River has flooded over highway 24 between Myer's Rd and Concession in the low area where the parking is for trail & river access.
It is flood plain as businesses have been moved from the area, including the PetroCanada gas station.

Haven't heard about the state of the Thames right now but that sounds about like the Grand I knew and loved when I lived in Waterloo Region. I am avoiding the valley near my home since I imagine the creek would have jumped its banks this week and the place turns into a veritable swamp after a storm like that. Last year it was mid-May I think before I could go down there without my hikers turning to clumps of mud.

We have Pittock Lake Conservation area ( which is more like a large River similar to the Grand that runs through the north end of our town.....it's also overflowing but all the hiking and bike trails seem to be intact, although the shoreline has definitely widened....I hate to say it, but it's still beautiful with the calm water creeping up, I know it's more calm than the Grand within our town anyway, but it's actually part of the Thames River that goes through London and eventually ends in Lake St. Clair.....

You know, I have never actually been to Pittock even though I know it is there. Fanshawe Conservation in London has enough hiking and paddling for us, so we haven't gone further afield much.

Someone was searching for a determinant of sanity and discovered the other side of it ... alternate end? Don Qui eh! ... It trails ...

So interesting to see the progression of our Sun gradually rising more and more North
My office faces South and I have issues at times with the amount of light pouring in (sensitive eyes). So I keep a ball cap on my desk (from Korea of all places) to shade my eyes. It's worse in winter, though, because the sun tends to be lower and there's no leaves to block it. Now that it is getting higher in the sky, the eaves of the roof give me some shade.

Shades are critical in the glow ...

I wonder who orders the NYSE shut down because of extreme activity?

I understood there was such a function. Is it the President?

No, it's the NYSE itself that decides that and there are algorithms in their system that can trip automatically, too, though that has caused problems in the past. I think an automatic shutdown created issues in 2008, IIRC. SEC regulations probably come into play as well. But, no, not the President.

You mist the satyr ... the President most likely feels he is the Executioner! The the mule died ...

There is an old saying that there is a mule among us ... what a Don Qui eh? Pious too ... solidly and believing everything is going well!

Blind to what ...

When we built our house on the farm we used the sun for winter heating. The house faced south with big windows. During the winter the sun shone in. During the summer a carefully measured overhang shaded the windows. Fresh air could be found by using the windows on the other three sides.

We didn't deliberately build with a North-South orientation, it's just the way the property is oriented. But, yeah, it definitely helps with the heating in the South facing room. Also means the South side gets dang warm in the summer. We close the blinds on the South side through the middle part of the day from June-September (roughly).

Good morning! Flooding in low lying areas, yardwork to do, conservation areas, windows and sunlight, and all that arose yesterday and will arise today; it comes along with us to the Coffee Cart, where we gather for chatting, camaraderie, friendship, and coffee and tea. Today we have various muffins to enjoy. So come in when you can, join the conversations, have a muffin and a mug or cup, and celebrate the wonderful moments of life. All is ready, everybody welcome. Come in and enjoy the company!

Imagine that in communion but the powers will not put up with wiener's ... so Jesus got up and left with his water jugs and the nation went arid ... a type of humor attached to some bodies ... other bodies cannot be communicated with as they up and departed ... some of us prepare for the sanc's Hine that come back with a black glow ... set on that a bit!

When you discover that sanctions are not as presented but simple gifts to cover for rich tax cuts ... the under populace roils ... transliteration appears as transcendent ... misuse of Zions ... as the way one holds the tongue for observation purposes ... recall the powers do not listen ... rite that down a' shite unseen ... gob'sofit ... just hold rite on ... might be parasitic, or other trade-off as syn crea pathy ... bad waves ... para synthetic? Alien, strange and auld words ...

Imagine auld out of the darkness ... Ted Cruse even declared it ... everything is whetted and getting a sharper response ...
