Room For All

Was it easy? If so, can you share the recipe? haha no desire to add in anything complicated at this point.

I made two. A Christmas spice cookie, fairly easy but all weighed in grams, and the technique is a bit different. It was declared an awesome Christmas cookie for dunking, particularly for milk, and icing was discouraged by the taster, but I'll decorate some for church contribution. The second was a shortbread which had quite a peculiar technique, that I would consider a little complicated, but you mightn't. Again, metric/mixed measurements. @Mrs.Anteater was kind enough to translate both of these for me. (And 15 g weighed of Canadian baking powder seemed to work, used Oetker vanilla sugar, and I totally understand the concept of a knife tip, lol; guessing it's 1/8-1/4 tsp...I do the same thing with salt, particularly.)

I think I've decided that if the outside flashing lights are easy, I'm in. Tree seems too much work at either house, so that's out, I think. Big guy has a kitschy creche in his room, I will easily locate and put my traditional creche next to my computer spot currently in what should be a dining room, lol. And except for doing a little bit of shopping, I'm done. Turkey is purchased, fresh stuff at last minute, might steam a pudding this week...but I'd have to find suet.

Weighing I can do. If you find a recipe complicated - not sure if my baking skills are up to it.
Would love the spice cookie recipe!

Chemguy and I are both lazy cooks. There's a few things we will do that are a bit finnicky, but in general if there's an easy cooking shortcut and it doesn't affect taste too much we take it.

Good morning! Tis the season for concerts and baking cookies and gingerbread, seeing neighbours and family, and, alas, all the fun that year-end brings to this time of year, too. The Coffee Cart is up and running; when you need a few minutes' respite from the rush, drop in for hot drinks and goodies, join the conversation and find community, and catch your breath. All is ready, come on in.

In this open thread I offer a Lightened Apology for speaking out of line on another tight thread ... I have suggested the hostiles to my alien ideas (foreign intelligence) present a motion to have me eliminated ... thus the complex abstract can remain undisturbed ... no Eris ... simple?

Additionally it would set me free ... from certain chimerae content ... Kahn 'v erves (wharves, piers)! Closed tome ... give out of sight in a roué in oblivion ... deconstruction? Got to be something in there Ammon can retrieve ... if only for Mammon (a sense of value in essence). Spooky ... g'host of chance ...

The stuff and matter that must go down in history is thus buried and secured below the physical horizon ... it is all in your head ... abstract?

Consider the extraction of info from the trump 'd phone ... can thus too be buried in the chaos of secular justice?

Leads one to the conclusion that some topics find it time to ghit ... move on! Imagine true ghit ... and there it departs ... satire as pure Satan ... slick as neural matter, mysterious also ... stuff for Ammon .. counter ot At man ... Woe! Su La? Nothing's resolution ...

In short ... secular life prefers knowledge and know how to be reduced so advantages can be realized for the powers in a triad!

Forthcoming is Satan to the powers revelation of what they were up to in their shady business tactics ... often apocalyptical to stray members of secularism ... thus out there winging it ... democratic frailty? It is a delicate matter ... gentile to the Judean ... genteel topic in houses of the Lords ... intent?

Nitesh as to form small corners for the lights? Childs music ... no communication allowed ... Mutation? Industry little known ...

The rain is over. The snow has returned...lots of it. I debated whether I should let the sometimes whiteout conditions prevent me from attending a church ladies' meeting and then I thought....I'm a northerner! What's a little snow, and some limited vision? I can handle it!

THE SUN IS OUT
in the most conscientious city here, hardly anyone is wearing a mask
THE SUN IS OUT
new Salvation Army norms: NO ONE HERE IS OUTSIDE

Good Morning! As we sight cormorants and travel through snow, as we inch closer to the holiday season, let us pause in our sojourning, to relax in the room with good company and hot beverages. All is ready; cushions are fluffed, chairs are clean. Come on in and join in!

Fish birds are said to evolve from dinosaurs rumored to once roam the deeps of bodies of water ... mortals being 70% of the problem ... water ... the brain even worse at 80% ... something to be flushed according to some hoarders of unknowns ... many things in water are below the threshold of vision ... it is writ ...

Unbelievable also???? Sight unseen ... some, however have peeked into the world of small ... it is detailed ... not for irritable donkeys ... you can pick them out by stating alien things that they never saw before ... in some philosophy the eternal is like a dragon ... it goes on and on despicable critter with limited reasoning powers ... a device attached to the lower side of the human brain as pituitary axes ... it can make or break relationships ... with shifts in steroids' ... odd essences of chimeral structure ... unbelievable to even many doctors as few study endocrinology because it is difficult to grasp ...

Leads to gaps as in endogeneity ... parts you don't want to know as facts that are virtue, but shift when there is a need to avoid the powerful sector?? Mind blowing evens like crisis in sects ... unspeakable ... encyclopaedical matter ... meaning word that contains a lot of information about anything you wish to know of ... just knock, ask ... open it ... may resemble a tome ... often pounded upon in some sects as a bad thing ... knowledge? If you get some do you become more responsible for the irrational portions? Thein some doubt of the handling ... grails should not be manhandled ...

also saw my first slightly tinged green comorant (a black seabird who eats fish)
Not just seabirds. We have a variety that lives around Fanshawe Lake here. Absolutely devastating to the trees they occupy.

And good morning, all. Chilly with a chance of flurries here but warming up by Friday to a balmy 9C.

Seem to have dodged a bullet. Mrs. M has been ill and so far I've not come down with it. Tested negative for C19. We are thinking maybe flu since I was vaccinated for that a while ago so would explain me not getting it. Symptoms are a better match for RSV, though, so I may not be off the hook yet.

Hope you continue to dodge the bullet @Mendalla. It sounds so easy to say...Stay home if you are not well. But it isn't. I coughed a lot last night so I bowed out of going to my mom's today, in the interest of keeping mom healthy and my brother-in-law too as he is going through chemo. But I don't feel terribly sick, so I just feel like I'm ducking out of responsibilities! I also have a call in to the hospital (should call back this afternoon) about my colonography on Friday. If I cough while I am lying down, will they let me take cough syrup? Or will they just say...re-schedule. The up side is I just washed the floor.

i think i have discovered a pattern

the rest of the GVRD can be socked in
and this one area is beautiful and sunny

like today

that is when @Northwind lets her Golden out to Bring on The Light

Hopefully they will do it more often :3
