Memories of having an 11lb 2oz son by C-section and being advised that I had a 10pound restriction for lifting for x weeks. Yeah, that didn't happen.

Hoping that his pain passes, @Seeler .

My 5 1/2 pound daughter was wwell within the ten pound weight restriction - but what aboout my year old son? Someone had to lift him into and out of his crib and highchair - and the only other 'someonee' around had to work to keep food on the tablee. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Seelerman was very uncomfortable last evening. He consented to take a perscription pain pill at about 8:00 pm and got up and took another shortly after midnight. Then he haad a good night's sleep and is chipper this morning. Gas! We realize now that the pain was probably mostly due to thee gas they pump into his abdominal cavity to give them room to work around in there. They actually warned us that this might happen, but when it didn't in the first 12 or so hours, we forgot about it.
The worst is most likely behind us. Today is bright and cheery. And I've thawed and heated a bowl of raspberries to go with the pot of oatmeal I've prepared for breakfast. Come in and help yourselves. The coffee is hot!

My delightful dog decided that it needed out at 6:10. I was the one who got up and let him out. Sleep isn't being found now so guessing it is an early start to my day

Here is coffee and bacon and eggs for anyone hungry this morning
Thanks for the breakfast Pinga.

In real life this morning:

Yobo: "I'm cooking you bacon Honey."

Mom: "You don't have time to eat bacon."

Life isn't always easy as an ISFJ.

I'm glad it's Friday. Lately work has been full of kerflufals. Things that should go smoothly aren't. High demands from families, other people dropping the ball . overall all is ok it has just been taking extra ordinary effort from me.

Sorry about bad week(s), @Tabitha . In similar note, I said to my current manager "do you want my consulting rate?". lol. There is a simple joy in being able to say that.
Nice re the dog @chanson .

Booked a totally spoiled trip to Cancun for March. Hotel is booked with suite upgrade. Plane is booked and took business class as was using up the trip that I cancelled for Singapore/Shanghai. Now just have to book to/from airport here & there, and cirque du soleil (there).
It's been a while getting it booked and deciding on what to do. Trip is celebrating my retirement, my birthday, my "kick cancer's butt" , and my sister's 50th birthday. Looking forward to a week of relaxation, tourist stuff, and recognizing it is not what we normally do. I am not an all-inclusive resort kind of person, but then again, haven't done it before...we are camper types, and eco lodge , b&b type people. Figured if we were going for it, we might as well do it right. Doubt that I will do it again.

#1 of my fillings is done. After all these new fillings, I will be ready for that trip!
Social dinners/lunches are being booked to approach the end of Feb...that's kind of fun.

Hah, slow. I need to focus on that aspect. Dang. Sigh, I have personal information on my computer need to note to manager that I am pulling it off so I dont' flag the insider risk folks. I may just put some fake file names up , just to give them some excitement. haha. oops, that would be cruel, but funny.

Ah the dropping of unknowns into the system ... good for chaos theory ... and those promoting the knot knowing theory ... entanglement at its best ... or worsted times in Celtic winds ... can cause an ithchii ...

Mortals are like that ... limited!

I created two spreadsheets years ago. Password.xlsx and Secretpswd.xlsx then filled the file with silly stuff,
it was a test to see if they would find them...put on share drive and my pc.

Sounds like something I would do.

Not that you want to hear that.

Litter training a kitten is easy. House-training a puppy can be a lot more difficult, particularly some breeds (hounds being a good example). One of the reasons I've almost always adopted adult pets, the other being the shortage of rescue-ers for the abandoned and lost dogs out there.

I'm having one more quiet day, largely in bed. Will begin to resume some more normal activities tomorrow. Because of all this freezing and thawing, it's quite treacherous underfoot, and I'm not in the mood to test Fate or tempt Godde. I'll miss my weekly "grounding" in the massed community, but I think I'm involved in meetings both Monday and Tuesday (nominating and Good News Team), I'll get my share of love and fellowship this week.

Fate is a deuce of a thing ... under quantum (chance) restrictions it can go either way unless in the infinite number of rolls the odds are 50/50 allowing a singularity! That's 1 ... or unity to LGK ... if the rest of you can get it together ...

Don't push yourself too hard Bette. Meetings can be a bit of a trial.

@Pinga tomorrow I can see any movie for 500 points, regardless of the type. I'm considering and ultraAVX, have you done this before? It has the reserved seating, so thought you might have given it a go.
I also have Dbox as an option, but I doubt I a) would like that b) if it's even medically safe

No IMAX as an option for the theatre I would use.

Not even sure I'll end up going, energy has been low but I thought it might be a good time to test out the special theatres that normally I would never bother paying extra for. I'm not even sure the number of points that I have currently!
