Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

It's a sunny day so far and we are under attack "heat event" warning. Apparently we'll hit the high 20's.
Is it humid? Because that sounds for a heat warning absent some serious humidity. 24C here today, then a bit cool and shower-y for a couple days.

Had son for dinner yesterday. D-i-L was busy with family stuff and couldn't come (they're Muslim and Eid al Adha was Friday so a lot of her family are around) so we had a nice flashback to pre-COVID times when it was just the three of us.

Explosion today
Cell service down for a few hours
Imagined those who hate cells cackling with glee!
Or N and I goofing on images of elderly storming the cell tower in their walkers, holding up their fists, coughing "Resistance!!!"
Wonder if it is in reaction to our suns activity
Surprising Sunday

It is cold, grty, windy and humid here. Last night's shower is still keeping the toad wet. Very unusual for this area. A slight smoke haze persists.

I've showered, tidied up a bit, made the bed and loaded a week's worth of pills into their pill sorter boxes. Now is sit at the computer time until lunching on leftover pizza. Mr C will be making supper - pork chops and whatever he decides to serve with them.

Tomorrow is a CT scan an hour away. Things like that were so much simpler when I could drive myself!

Is a lyre the best choice for coving up our bad legends, myths, etc. 60k thick ... fathoms that is!

It is just the way materialism lies there ... all settled! Imagined support system ... unreal ... difficult to understand as such essences often are!

The dream of a village hidden in a vale ... "losers" it is said by the head man! Then the shades and shadows scatter ...beyond powerful contempt ...

That picture of the Fisherman King lying on a strand ... sacred chord? Zorba resting under the miracle ... it looks down as a evil Ayre ...

I'm told such statements make some heads hurt ... Eeyore takes rest!

Alas and Anon ... they just don't get it and thus it continues ... like hemisphere ... demiurge?

Always two sides to the beastie ...

Good morning! Heat warnings, wildfires and smoke concerns, medical procedures, and all the other things that pop into mind, we gather them and bring them with us to the Coffee Cart. Here we chat, support, connect, and drink tea and coffee, and indulge in Timbits. The tea water is ready, coffee is freshbrewed, and the bits are as fresh as possible. Come when you can and join the fun! All is ready, everybody is welcome!

Well the heat warning was warranted. It went up to about 29. That's hot for the rainforest. :) It's supposed to be progressively cooler each day this week. Mr Northwind and his friend are golfing today. The girls will hang out here and maybe walk the waterfront.

Expecting rain here today, which is great for all the plants that i have planted or are waiting to plant.

I'm enjoying the gardening. With my current schedule, i am trying to do an hour or more each morning. Getting new plants in, and relocating plants not doing great is my priority. A bit of weeding, but it can wait.

Had our first cherry tomato yesterday, yum! Using lots of greens to make salads with 3 different lettuces within our square foot raised garden beds, providing lots of greens. Kale isn't ready yet, but will be soon, and swiss chard makes weekly appearance at dinner.
Fun watching the potatoes grow, and adding more dirt. Hopefully it will work.

It went up to about 29.
We could get there midweek but overall, it's still a bit on the cool side. We'll see how things go as we get closer to summer. Only two weeks to go now until solstice.

Haven't a lot of weather warnings and advisories and such here this spring. Just the advisory about the wildfire smoke last week. Haven't even had many severe storm watches and warnings. Which is good, I guess. I'd rather just a few days of showers here and there than all heck breaking loose. :giggle:

If there is room for everything here maybe one could insert an everything comment (mostly on the character of the ultimate) that has no answer, response, etc.

I have asked at various times in the past about the difference between moral and ethic and am told by some that moral is a traditional feeling by a group ... like to ostracize the feelings of another to the extreme of placing them on a skewer ... or being raised up to be toasted to a comfortable heat ...

Thus one is identified as out of the traditional group for cooking purposes ...

It is like Charlemagne being an old word for a person burning to be in control as Charles was once an expression for flaming effects ... like some blooming examples! Thus ero sis before the ceded packet was dispersed ... difunctionally?

Examine: Unction ... like the lubrication of a hand ! Jah ... buttered in Paris ... with much churning ...

Makes as much sense as a lot of vast overblown powers with not respect for intellect ... wooden Yah know ... act dumb so they won't accuse you of the smarts! No stinging comments ... like being beaten down with thi sword that trans mutate ... you may feel it in the ribs ... they can be emotional also ... no thoughts to the meaning or understanding through time ... A' non ...

Is there room for a comment like there is no such thing as neuro, or psycho algae ... thus these contemplations ooze out into the domains beyond us ...

Heavenly clarity? Swept clean ... as there was nothing tuit ... it was allis Aude ... a visitation in the bower ... forest bore? Black forest Ham ... hem din ...

With word ... imagine ... but Kahn it be an ... confinement? B' Anne ... a Gymea ... tis a plant designation how we don't know of what we speak ... yet word floes freely in all domains ... even simply! It has been set free ... as ceded ... another side? Monstrous variants ... ration ale? We don't know ... just for the experience ...

Good morning! Those rare days in June are sliding by. We continue to remember those in danger from wildfires, and those affected by the smoke and debris from the fires. For those living in areas of heat warnings, hope you can stay as cool as possible. For the gardens and gardeners, may the veggies continue to grow and be delicious.
We gather again this morning around the Coffee Cart for chat and support, community and camaraderie, over coffee, tea, and cinnamon buns. The tea water is boiling, coffee freshbrewed, and buns warm from the bakery. All is ready, all are welcome. Come join the fun!

What is the experience of everything goes?

There a system suggesting some curtailment ... inhibitions? Yet ... it is beyond us ... as the bulk does not like knowledge, wisdom and such process ...

Isn't that num heh? Implications ... can one think*ahe AD ...

Cobb’s Bakery is on the other side of town but sometimes we go there for a treat. So… I’ll bring virtual blueberry lemon scones to the table. Enjoy!

S' urge on ... yet observe as you go ... no obscure materialism allowed ...

The wee brown item is thus stirred! James appearing as Jimmy?

We had a nice day yesterday. Friends came over. The boys went to golf and the girls did some stitching and visiting at home outside. We put down our stitching and went for a walk along the beautiful community beach. We met a couple men who were visiting from the Netherlands and had a nice chat. Then we met the husbands at a nearby small brewery and sat outside. It's one of the growing number of places where dogs are allowed on the patio, so dog could join us. We ended the visit with supper at a fabulous English style pub. Again, dog could join us in the outdoor eating space. I came home with a bit of a sunburn. :)

My God woman, I ve never met anyone that gets to eat out as much as you....I'm jealous!!!
Not criticizing, just green, lol!

We don't usually eat out so often. Our birthdays and anniversary are within a week so recent frequent eating out was related to that. :)

@KayTheCurler how is the situation near you?
We have a little smoke, but not really tick. Some friends are frantically trying to protect their property. Yesterday I had a CT appointment and the smoke was really stinky. Neither of us can offer help which feels sad.
Our town still has a lot of evacuees who seem to be getting treated well. Meals, free swims etc..
Our daughter initiated making lunches and snacks for firefighters working nearby. She got some help and lots of donations of cash for supplies.
