Another youngster passing in our area ... some question about what was ingested or otherwise consumed as alien matter!

I told there is a lot of unknown matter on the street ... I avoid such things but do study them and their affect on the human soul-psyche connection. I'm told there is no such thing in a properly disseminated topic (object study). Thus non X-ist ance ... and the very thing moves to the alternate side ... verily mysterious and dark ...

Is there an ivory gate constructed of bones ... ostium? Engravings may mark the bones of the myth ...

Just got an air quality alert on my Environment Canada app. Yep, the smoke has reached Ontario. Eek. That's gotta be a lot of smoke. Last time we had this, it was fires in Quebec so closer. Damp, dark day, too.
What was the most dense you have been in?

Mine was Vancouver, WA, couldn't see one block with ash floating aboot ans the air smelled like a campfire
I was both filled with awe and trepidation, like "apocalypse movie" feeling
That feeling didn't ocurr again till 2020

Had lots of rain last night, not so much today. I noticed the air quality was not great before the rain yesterday, but, seems better post-rain.

A quilting shop near me is closing as owner is retiring.
Dangerous! Beautiful fabrics heavily discounted.
Have been there two days in a row, and headed there again tomorrow.

I haven't been doing much sewing, but, Granddaughters need new nighties for the summer, which I have lots of fabric in my stash for.
Need new pattern as the oldest graduated out of little girls sizes.
Picked up some lovely flannel for their winter nighties.

I have a new great niece, and, her Mom picked fabric for a baby blanket that just arrived, so have to get busy sewing!

Had a gathering of the FHS Class of 65 last evening. What an astounding group even though over 20% of the approximate 500 were now gone ... undergoing alien passages ...

The survivors covered much of the known world as observers of the stupidity resulting from great grasp for physical wealth ... and disposal of psyche Light ...

The mass thought mental weighty topics were disposable ... thus prone to elimination as prodigal ... few understand the complex redaction of the simple ...

Much of those that went into skilled labor were sidelined by life itself ... couldn't stand the wear and tear ... Luddites!

Good morning! Class reunions, rains, air quality alerts (in this area up to 9), all the other stuff that arises comes with us to the Coffee Cart, where we gather in spirit over coffee and tea to discuss, to find support, to straighten it all out. Today with the tea and coffee we have eclairs to enjoy. The coffee is freshbrewed, tea water is boiling, and eclairs are fresh. Come join the conversations! All is ready, all are welcome.

Good morning. Our weather forecast is warning us about a "heat event" with temperatures in the high 20's to low 30's. My only concern is the risk for fires.

My neutrophils are above 1 so today is a treatment day. I've been knitting a f*** cancer hat for a friend who is facing more treatment. I'll have it done before I see her on Tuesday.

I've been listening to a book by Olivia E Butler called The Parable of the Sower. It's very thought provoking. It was written in 93 and is set starting in 2024. It's a little wild reading a book about the future that is now today.

Butler was a heckuva writer. Sadly, she is no longer with us but she and some contemporaries laid the groundwork for the modern s-f/fantasy subgenre known as Afrofuturism, basically s-f/f written by and reflecting the experience of Africans and the African diaspora. Even Marvel got in on that with the Black Panther movies. The last thing I read by Butler was Fledgling, a rather unique take on vampirism. That was her final novel, published just the year before her death.

Oddly I haven't read any books so far this year like I used to. Seems like I better get off my butt and get to the book stores. I think winter weather made me a dormant mouse that needs to become more alive.

I read Kindred recently. It was my first Butler book. It was a very interesting perspective on slavery history. I particularly liked having the perspective from a modern black woman and white man. It was quite striking.

The smoke in our area is very varied. Right now there is just a faint bluish haze, but yesterday we couldn't see a block away. Hoping for rain, of course, and for the wind to quit blowing! Our local arsonist got caught and everyone is wondering what made him think that starting another fire would be a good idea. !!

Not sure if sad or mad is more appropriate. When a significant chunk of the province is already burning, WTF is gained by starting another one.

Been kind of meh here today. Warm and a bit muggy with a fair bit of cloud. Kind of hazy, which I guess could be the smoke that made its way here. Not sure.

Got moved over to my new office this afternoon so that's over with. Will start actually working out of that office on Tuesday since I usually WFH on Monday. It's huge, I am realizing. Probably got room for a small conference table with a couple chairs or something like that. We'll see once I am more settled. Haven't even got my keyboard tray installed yet.

Does humanity have hidden within it ... some obscure destructive memes?

If you cannot observe them ... how do you respond? With implosive simplicity! So it goes down ...

Few appreciate the unseen with any level of respect ... some Semitic peoples referred to the item as the Great Unknown that might be claimed by those disposing of knowledge ... simple eH! Its clear as the aye of the storm ... it is sometimes Jaer 'd ... in clay vessels that are explosive if they cannot contain them selves ...

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Reading and authors, fire and smoke levels and arsonists, new offices, and all the other thoughts and events that come up, we're here for it. We gather round the Coffee Cart, to converse, support, connect, and drink tea and coffee, while indulging in assorted doughnuts. The tea water is ready, coffee freshbrewed, and doughnuts fresh. Come in, have a mug or cup and a doughnut, and join the conversations! All are welcome, all is ready. Come and get it!

Pyro what?

Mania you say ... that appears normal given what we know for sure ... and yet make claims!

Time will alter that position and attitude as a humor ... you may hear it dripping ... humanity seeps as well ...

Then when you consider the throat of the multimedia and how it went to conflict rather than co-operative ... is implosion expected or exceptional to those without the þ ςept 'n? Just accept it is coming down ... the gift in piles and stacks! Rounders eh ... down the tube ...

In Boston they believed it never returns and then they saw it coming back ... pilgrims! Everyone must take a turn ... its like; mystical!

Critical: tend your pyros ... they blossom! Toxic? That's the apple ... raging red beaut! There's something to it!

Good morning! A very pleasant Sunday to all! Today is the Day of Pentecost, when the Spirit was poured out in Jerusalem. May the wind of the Spirit fill our sails, and the flame of the Spirit be warmth to cheer us and light to lead us. We gather round the Coffee Cart to chat, support, and connect over coffee, tea, and crumpets. The tea water is ready, coffee is freshbrewed, and crumpets nicely warmed. All is ready, everyone is welsom. Come join the fun!

To be fair, I poured out a spirit last night that did not exactly "fill my sails", but I'm feeling fairly refreshed this morning after a long week of work and family chores.

Good morning. It's a sunny day so far and we are under attack "heat event" warning. Apparently we'll hit the high 20's. Other parts of BC will have actual heat event worthy heat.

I wanted to go to the PRIDE parade today. A shower and making coffee tired me out so I'll go to church. There will be people from our congregation representing.
