wondering & wandering
Wow - yes - your case numbers ae certainly spiking. But more importantly - what is happening with the hospitalization rate? Is it showing a corresponding jump that jeopardizes the availability of care? It's quite possible that gross case numbers can be high - but many of those people may have less serious illness burden. That should not trigger big lock downs as such restrictions were a tool to relieve stress on hospitals. Fingers crossed you will be able to see family at Xmas.My sister and I were talking (gloomily) on the phone yesterday...saying that it will probably be another lock-down Christmas in our city. Our COVID numbers are climbing. Rumour is that it got out of hand because our homeless situation got out of hand. It's spreading in the schools, families, industry, jail, and even the hospital.
Sad to see rumours pinning spread on those who are homeless.
EDIT - my apology - I've veered off into COVID discussion, not "room" chatting.
