Not very spicy.Curry soup, eh. Very spicy? What's the base?
Not a bad choice. Two of my friends back in the day did undergrad psych at Waterloo and then went to Toronto for grad studies. It looks more like she wants to go to Waterloo for Psych
Well, her job is over for the season. She got a lot of positive feedback from the parents of her athletes. She did well this year and she was part of some really impressive improvements. I still can't believe she coaches about the most dangerous sport on skis. It's so out of what I consider is her character, but she sees risk where I don't, and vice-versa. I'm right and she's wrong, of course.Lots of decisions and pressure....hope she's getting lots of R and R.
I got there without trying. Frankly, given how I used to skirt that 7.0 line when I was on Metformin alone, I would be happy in the mid-6's. However, Jardiance, the new drug I am on, is working extremely well. It's probably responsible for finally getting my weight out of the overweight BMI range, too. Supposed to reduce the risk of cardiovascular illness in type 2 diabetics as well. Type 2 diabetes is a degenerative illness and while I know someone who got themselves under control and reduced their drug regimen with a major effort on diet and exercise, he still wasn't considered "cured", just "well-controlled". I am happy that I was able to control it that way for as long as I did. I was doing just diet and exercise for 2 or 3 years before I started Metformin.On-line (looking at you Reddit) you will find many type 2 diabetics trying to get it in the normal range I e. under 6.0
Good to hear that treatment is progressing without pain from shots. Pretty sure I'd be nervous about poking myself too.Today was interesting. It started out being slothful. We had a fire with friends this afternoon. One couple came down from up island so it was nice to see them. Six of us went for supper, then hubby and I went over to the hospital so I could learn to shoot myself. I have to give myself an injection on Saturdays and Sundays after my treatment. It was a piece of cake and I didn't feel the needle. What a relief. This injection will help keep my white blood cells up.
