Seeler, many weeks later and I am still coughing... and having phlegm. Whatever that bug was, it was wicked. We nicknamed it "the plague" at the offices in the US, as it took people out who are never off sick (like me), for days. Then again, most of the IT crews are also running on empty, way too many hours of work, lots of stress, and so the probability of being knocked on our butt by a bug were higher...
I can't imagine the amount of snow you guys have. My son is considering moving down East for work, he isn't used to the snow and with his job he would be having to be out in it when others aren't. I imagine he will be seeking a different vehicle within a short-time if he does go.
I am looking forward to next week off.
My plan for a week to redo the bedroom did fall through as my husband is working the week that I scheduled off. On the other hand, The bedroom suite is on order, and the paint selections are in the final choices, and so, it will be a more relaxed redo. We also have agreement on other items, so I can get that done as well.
A month ago our dishwasher went (maybe just over a month). My husband suggested that we not replace it. (I think we had a discussion somewhere on one of these threads that dishwasher is more economical than handwashing, and you all corrected my old understanding). Anyhow, he has been washing dishes for a month... and dealing with piles of dishes. Sunday, we went and selected the dishwasher to replace the old one. So, that will also be happening when I am off (delayed due to when the one we selected comes on sale).
I also have booked my financial planning meeting that was cancelled at Christmas when my contact switched companies. The other person that I had picked to review data with has passed away unexpectedly. (Sadly, she was a woman at our church who became ill and died in her late 50's).
Finally, think that I am going to read a few books, and maybe do some gaming, true relaxation!
