Good to hear that you don't feel dreadfully ill Mendalla. Carry on healing!

I haven't managed to get my fourth dose of Covid avoidance yet. We couldn't get appointments when they opened up to us older/sicker types. Kept trying until they stopped offering, presumably because everyone should have been done. Fourth shots for anyone over 18 should be starting soon I think, but again, I couldn't find an appointment (because no one seems to have decided when or where things should happen).

In the meantime my pharmacy are trying to access the ordered anti fungal that might make my lung better!
 
That reminds me of the story in Germany where they caught a guy last year who has had 87 covid vaccinations, sometime three in a day, because he was selling the proof of vaccination to unvaccinated people. I wonder if he ever got covid. I picture his blood as one big mass of antibodies….
 
So I took the neighbours out to the Assisted living place- and they liked it. Not 100% convinced and still have to check their savings, but its a start. The thunderstorm didn’t happen, so we were good with air condition on full blast and then picked up a blizzard ( ice cream) on the way back.

That's really disappointing to hear! Pharmacies have been really good to get them here. There are times when one is out because they expired and didn't feel the demand was high enough to restock (tried my main pharmacy for my 4th shot and that was the case) but with all of the pharmacies around it was very easy to find a place that did have them.

I hope that anti-fungal gets you feeling better!
 
Spoke to my nurse today at the rare blood clinic, just to quickly verify a few things that are going on, nothing atypical. She thought I made the right choice regarding bumping up the interval slightly which was reassuring.

Defines hole Æ spots ... not really places, simply massless, volume-less voids ... imagine turning volume inside out ... only within psyche! Thus mind and sol becomes how it incarnates ... further chaotic enigma ... you cannot know it from here ... thus we get on ...
 
Lots going on with our WC family it seems. We are presently in Calgary for a wedding which will be this afternoon :) Having a good time exploring a few neighbourhoods here as it is our first visit. On our walk home from an open house gathering last evening, we saw & heard a huge horned owl - no good pics but an excellent view of it! Very cool.
Anybody see Northern Lights last night? Big geomagnetic storm will apparently grace us with more lights tonight - so remember to look up! It was cloudy & lots of ambient city light so we didn't see them here - but we do have a wonderful view of Calgary skyline - lots of buildings with interesting lighting after dark.
 
Good morning. There's not enough dark at night here to see the norther lights at this time of year we have seen them from our deck in the fall or spring when we lived here. They are pretty spectacular.

We are packing up and heading to a lake today. I'm looking forward to a visit with a knitting buddy.

Good morning. Just resting and nursing my remaining symptoms. Some nasal and sinus irritation leading to one of my curses, postnasal drip triggering hacking, choking coughs, as well as some discomfort in my chest, though how much of that is from the former is open for debate. This is all normal for me post a bad cold or flu, though, so I think COVID has lost its novelty and is now just pushing buttons that every virus seems to push with me eventually.

Lovely day around here. Spent a couple hours reading on the deck this morning. Maybe go back out this afternoon, though I might also do some stuff indoors since my sensitivity to the Sun tends to make me a bit shy of being out during the afternoon.
