It is a beautiful day. 16 C here to nicely cool off the house, bright sunshine, light wind.

Thank you Red Baron for your constancy in this offering to experience togetherness in ritual ceremonies.

What is rit UA'l? A feast when nothing is left because of great hunger that consumes ... a monster conjuration?

The hole thing was consumed ... and after it all went dark ... the optimum destination ...

If it is wet, cool and dark ... you may be low in the well or other depression ... Glen? Some say a fold or wrinkle ... a grand metaphor for a lump of Earth ... Mire? Thus mired down ...

I finished editing Aspects of Faith on the weekend and I replaced the initial posts of most of the trheads with the edited versions of each chapter.

Hello from sweet sweltering summer in the mountains of BC! Tomorrow's forecast is 38, feeling like 43 :-) Solid sunshine. Much the same for the rest of the week. No A/C. So it's a slow moving time.

We participated in a wonderful wedding in Calgary on the weekend. Sadly, an 'univited guest' made an appearance and many folks are now testing positive for COVID, including the bride, her parents & maid of honour - amongst many more. So honeymoon trip to Italy & Greece will have to be delayed - sadly, after the wedding also being delayed from prior years due to COVIDD. The ceremony & reception were all outdoors, but lots of mixing & mingling there, as well as at an open house on Friday evening & indoor brunch on Sunday. :-( My mate has a sore throat, but tested -ve this afternoon. We did the test on the tailgate of the vehicle in the visitor parking before we went to see good friends :-) Hopefully that status will remain. Fingers crossed!

Good morning! Sorry to hear of the spread of Covid at the wedding, hope the cases are mild and short. The coffee cart is up and running, join the conversation, and offer/receive support from one another. All is ready.

That's not what anyone meant by "something borrowed..."

That temperature sounds challenging. Personally, I don't do well with heat. Never have, but it is getting harder. The house we bought was fitted with ac already and we throw out our environmental concerns out and turn it on so I can breathe!

What a disappointment for the wedding participants.

Sorry to hear about that uninvited guest, Carolla. I've heard of this at quite a few weddings lately. I can't even imagine that heat! (I noticed it on the weather channel today). Here...cool and wet: a good day to bake and read. Taking my mom to her doctor's appointment in a bit, where we will talk about her Alzheimer's assessment.

Deep space is a chilling experience compared to trips deep in the mire/earth. consider Moses only made it to the top of a mountain and he was chilled enough to return to lower elevations. following a line from the Nile that may have been Kilimanjaro ... those not liking to study geography would deny the layout ... and they would put nihilism where they wanted ...

In the entire confusion recorded ... what would we know if you didn't read much? Knowledge and intelligence is still considered contrary to those that prefer emotions alone ... simple desires might be rendered into a complex system ...

Whoosh it's hot! Have the windows & curtains closed and fan on - still tho - we're not quite at the forecasted peak for today yet, and not really going to cool down substantially overnight! Not much wind either. Might go get another fan later - if one can be found in this small town.

In other news - my mate has now tested positive :-( Feeling mostly like a very bad cold - combined with the heat & staying in a room with closed door. We had the fan on, exhausting the room air out the window - but now it's toooo hot to keep the window open. Guess I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight :-( Oh well, this too shall pass, as my mom used to often say. Thankful we both had a second booster :-)

In "The Seven Year Itch", Marilyn Monroe said she keeps her underwear in the freezer. I keep meaning to try that. For me it's a shower and standing in front of the fan to "evaporate" to cool off before bed

One trick I find very helpful in extreme heat is to get a facecloth nice and cold and damp/wet, and drape it around the back of your neck.

And I love the ceiling fan in my bedroom. Adds a lovely breeze and white noise to the room.

My house is not air-conditioned, although my furnace fan does work reasonably well to circulate up the cooler air from the basement. I replaced the furnace about six years ago, and it was going to be double the price to make it an A/C unit as well. And it just doesn't, even now, get hot enough on enough days of the year to justify it to my mind.

Also, Carolla, hugs to husband that it's just cold-like with the shots, and hoping you dodge it altogether.

Thanks Bette :) I moved my husband down to the large garage on the main floor a few hours ago - bedroom was waaaay too hot once the window was closed & afternoon sun was on that side of the house. It was much more comfortable in a camping chair in the garage LOL! We've now let him out of captivity & he's on the back deck - at least until the mosquitos get thick! Now it's cooling off ever so slightly - the sun goes behind the mountains early & that makes a difference. Although weather network still says 37 feeling like 43! LOL - calling 37 "cooling off"!

I hope you get a nice cool breeze overnight!

Hoping for an 'easy' journey through Covid for anyone who has it. Also hoping for cooling breezes overnight. Really hot nights totally suck.

Good morning! As weather continues to happen, and the seventh wave carries on, as we call to mind the myriads of other topics of import, or topics more trivial, we bring it all to the coffee cart, where hot drinks and conversation await. All is ready. Come join us.

Do myriads develop into complex enigma? Are those this dark, abstract and invisible to those with psychotic vision problems ... a oblivious syndrome when trapped in it? One of those green monster things ... slow growing avarice ... said to be grossly overcoming to those searching out the greatest ... and totally missing the humble point vector! Thus the bust out ... toga failure? Maybe simba iotic and prone to rendering to another rendition! Psychotic expanse ... Niger-like spread ... nagging shadows of that thing ... possibly self-related! Some cannot see it ...
