Ouch Seeler! Something like that I would just go to a walk-in instead of waiting. At least for the antibiotics - might want a doctor who knows me and my history to deal with the drainage.

Ouch, seeler, sounds like an awful week. Our skin is our largest organ, and we forget how dangerous infection can be.

My poor old part-time relationship appears to be in terminal difficulty and could do with some healing thoughts, if you can spare a few.

One glass? Sounds like a triple to me, only it's coming later than would have been useful.

Carolla, The west coast expression for rain is "liquid sunshine". You learn to dress for it and to go out in it.

Poor seeler. Infection isn't fun. Glad you got it treated. Speedy healing.

Yes Tab - that old phrase - there is no bad weather, just bad clothing - also comes to mind! How's your hand doing?

Hand is almost well. It passes for fine but still aches now and again. I have a 2nd infection caused by the antibiotics but with a little over the counter treatment that is also resolving. So doing pretty ok.

Cloudy today - overcast but no rain or snow - and yesterdays snow? wasn't enough to accumulate but melted as it fell. But I woould prefer to wake up to a few inches of sparkling, clean, white snow and look forward to seeing the sun rise over the neighbours house and the tree branches reaching up in the background. Cloudy, drizzly weather gets me down.

The extra-mural nurse isn't coming until 3:00 pm so I will be able to go to church this morning. Yesterday Seelergirl and I did some Christmas shopping at the Malls and Box Stores. Who else would go out in public with a big white bandage on theeir head and their hair sticking out in all directions?

My sympathy and understanding.

Hi folks. I am at my sisters and not hat much time or bandwidth to post. Between all the smartphones, tablets, computers their poor router is having a tough go.

Had a great visit. Headed south today. Be well

Currently at a memorial service for our daughter's sibling loss support group. During the PowerPoint slideshow of deceased loved ones, the projector kept going to a blue screen. Asked my wife if I could make a "Blue Screen of Death" joke. She would not let me.

She's amazing. Not much fun, but amazing.

Somehow, that got me in mind of all those funny Biden/Obama memes that are showing up on Facebook - you are Joe to her Obama...

Seeler, I love your vision of you. One of the very few benefits of older age, is, I think, an absolute carelessness about what 'people' might think of your appearance.
