Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Good morning! Thursday is dawning soon, another pleasant autumn day in this area, hoping it's nice where you are as well. We come together again around the Coffee Cart for our session of conversation over old and new topics, to give and receive moral support, and to improve our community ties. Of course tea and coffee will play a art, as well as the efforts of our Wonderbaker. This morning, the WB has made a wonderful apple crisp, and provided the ice cream to top it, if desired. Enjoy!
The coffee is freshbrewed, the tea water is boiling merrily, and the apple crisp is warm from the oven. All is ready, and everybody is welcome! Come join the conversations!

Yes! Sweet apple crisp with lovely butter brickle ice cream

Yes! Sweet apple crisp with lovely butter brickle ice cream

What an odd whirred ... brick-elle as Chez enslaved ...

I was reading last evening about Origen, Augustine and others opinions on the mother passion thing ... it is really chaotic ... ultimate A'Din ...

AD ich tive ... how stunned it is ... cottoning between the 1 and the alternate ... you can see how someone gets drawn over the edge ...

I love butter brickle ice cream.
I do like vanilla with sweets, as I find that combining a flavoured ice cream with something like apple crisp is too sweet.

That's me though. To each their own.

The dishwasher that came with our house bit the dust during covid. We ordered a new one, and in the meantime, my spouse got the dishwasher going. It went again, multiple times, each time he got it going, and the new one was sitting in our sunroom. At times, it sounded like the ?pump? was going to explode. It regularly stopped with error codes

Finally, he decided he didn't want to fix again, and put the new one in.

In the meantime, my sister-in-law's and brother-in-law's dishwasher went. They said, we'll take your old one. No problem. Off it went.
Four years later, it is still working fine for them.

Our best guess is that the moving of it dislodged whatever was causing all the grief.

It's a family joke

Our fridge would set off the alarm regularly for "door ajar". Annoying beep that we couldn't get rid of.
It didn't go for 6 months, and i thought my spouse must have figured out how to cut the line or something. Kept forgetting to ask.

One night, it went again.
Found that the fridge had a bunch of water under the vegetable drawer.
Sopped it up.
No more alarms.

Seemed to be the pattern. Now we just put a dishtowel in during high humidity days, and it seems happy.
There's probably a drain plugged somewhere, but, this works

Encounters with this common problem have led to a lot of refrigerator sales ... makes you question the design deficiency ... another factor in our self destructive means to support economy contrary to people ...

Points to human intellectual difficulties ... so all is well ... just because!

This may come as a surprise, but I dislike vanilla. To me, it's the beige of ice creams

We had kind of noticed, yes. For my part, vanilla is a great side for another dessert like a pie or a great base for a sundae or float. But that's precisely because it is fairly lightly flavoured itself so mixes well with other flavours. So the beigeness is an asset in those situations. But for just eating straight ice cream, I have a fairly long list (butterscotch ripple, pralines and cream, mint chocolate chip, Mandarin's low-sugar cappuchino). Discovered a new one the other day thanks to a celebration at work. Wolf Pass from Chapman's.

I have two distinct uses for ice cream: to put on the side of pie or fruit dessert, or on its own. Different purposes, different ice creams. Also, apple pie is fine with both vanilla and a butterscotch sort of flavour; the butterscotch doesn't work with all pie types.

Butterscotch is also great with pumpkin pie

Hm. Not sure about that one. I love both but need to actually try them to see if they go together. That said, I normally have whipped cream rather than ice cream with pumpkin. I will bet, however, that butterscotch would go well with pecan pie. Just a bunch that will test some day.

Butter scotch was originally manufactured from a concoction of whisky as a mean treat of Celts ... it has an unusual draw for strict Presbyterian sorts that were pressed into having this as a heritage ... against their will ... but if you do not know will ... you cannot have the desire to understand strange origins ... it is just as it is! For this we are doomed ... my forebearers declared that such pleasures would put a person on a hot seat ... and thus that place developed as a instigated by mortal Masters of the trade ... stone-cutting piousness!

Why everything good is preserved for the chosen identities ...

If you believe that really strongly and hard it will push the bad portions out and into the mix ... why we on the fringe see both good and bad and study them for applications! Some say applied science if done in the Dais light ... a Sun Dais morning come down ...

Literary device???? Something useful ...

Good morning! It's Friday, the weekend is near. Any plans or schemes for the next few days?
We gather round the Coffee Cart once again to chat, to support, and to maintain and strengthen community ties. We do this over coffee and tea, and while enjoying the works of the Wonderbaker. This morning, that worthy has produced for us cupcakes in several varieties to enjoy.
The tea water is hot, the coffee has finished its brewing, and the cupcakes are warm from the oven. Everything is ready, everyone is welcome. Come join the chat!

Schemes? Are these by law or by antinomianism ... which I believe to be something of conscience ... now in that regard ... what does one do with a personality that has no conscience?

Some great numbers believe they should be part of the elect ... and so the Ped. Prin. that trys to sway us away from the rules in a great go round ...

It is suggested by some that some lighter conscience comes to earth from time to time to study the alternate that has settled on a hard stone rolling around freely in the Cosmos ... a successor to Mos-essence! In that a great list of myths ... chaos? Sure is a great Din ... all a' din if you ask me ... like a lad tormented by oracles ... reiterating consciences stretched through time ... mysterious stuff as if deposed of in a wardrobe ... closeted persona? Crackers ...

Would heavenly fallout crackle as it descended ... maybe just cackle because of what it was bringing to disturb the desires ...

Nut crackers? Christmas approach eth ... after nights of Saint right ...

Today is Hangul Day, and some friends from Seoul came to visit Yeobo and I. We all shared a cozy lunch of steak, ribs, pizza, vegetables, salad, and more. Then it was off to a cafe for lovely drinks - I'd a hot Latte. There was a lot of laughs and story sharing
