Large gourdes are popular in places ... I understand the watermelon was considered spiritual in ancient Egypt ... then water was also ... it is a story that carries through water treatment technology as an essence of thought ... flows right through time and space ... as myth-ihc ...

The "h" was one a spacer ... if you can grasp that! The Semitics often referred to it a "heh" and ignored "Hur" ... reconciled by a rush over the horizon in a cloud ... archaic data center! People despise recall ...

My son won the largest pumpkin competition again this year…fourth in a row
Congratulations to your son. The husband of one of my co-workers at the library back in the 90s used to grow giant pumpkins for those competitions. It's kind of scary how big they can actually get. :jackolantern::giggle:

Caused the theme of Cinderella as she learned from cleaning up around relations ... swelled gourds from bullying ...

Was it quiet or a widow making event? This is when Maria leaves ... and the old guy remains alone ... a mind out of heaven away from the integral thought situation ... thoughtless and believing joy is that way! Difficult to relate ...

Good morning! Happy leftovers day! We gather round the Coffee Cart again to converse, support, and connect over coffee and tea, and the works of the Wonderbaker. Today, we have the Wonderbaker's specialty, cinnamon buns, to indulge in. The tea water is boiling, and the coffee is freshbrewed, All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come join the chats!

We had to build a new driveway at the family shore property. My husband would have loved your help @chansen!
I’ll pass on even virtual snacks today…still too full from yesterday.

What is virtue's knack sometime unusually observed ... as reality incarnates mostly for supporting liars ... just look at our representation!

Appears ... or incarnates that much was missed as laid out ... erroneous plots? Mist plantings ... the stuff we don't know is immaterial?

You know, I probably would have enjoyed helping. Alas, there isn't enough of me to go around.

The sad part is my dad has been slowly incapacitated by age, injury, chronic pain and other ailments. He used to lead with all these maintenance items. It's taken me too long to switch from "helper" and following his direction, to actually looking at this place from an owner's perspective and choosing and performing the most urgent tasks.

Those trees were dead and threatened the house and workshop. What started as a lawn cutting and tree trimming extended long weekend has become an exercise in lumberjacking. It's been years since I took down trees this size, but we're doing okay. We're using ropes with a block and tackle to make pulling easier and allow my wife, son and daughter to be out of the line of fire and pull the trees over as I cut the hinge and get out of the way when it starts to crack.

I was brought up that we are our own contractors for most things. What I don't know, I learn. And I buy the tools for it. After all, he/she who dies with the most tools, wins. I'm definitely in the running.

My daughter insists she will hire contractors when she gets her first house. I'm expecting her call one day once she gets the quotes.

Cool. New driveways seems to be the theme in my neighbourhood at home right now. We and the couple to the West of us both did them last year. Two more houses down the street just poured concrete last week.

The general trend is replacing brick with concrete. Not surprised. Brick is a bit of a pain and has to be re-laid every decade or so due to shifting and heaving creating problems for things like shoveling the drive. Not to mention that no matter what you do, weeds find their way up between the bricks eventually.

Dad did what he could but often sought help. The good news was, he had connections and often used those rather than a regular contractor arrangement. So when he put a two-piece washroom in the basement, he got a plumber who went to our church to help. For getting the old milkbox removed and the hole bricked up (it had proved to be a security risk), he got the German bricklayer next door. Even his first lawyer was our old Cub Scout Akela from the church (he retired so Dad had a different lawyer by the time he died). So I follow his lead and do what I can but use contractors if things get complicated (like the driveway above).

Some of us are looking for Rhode doubt ... a deep etude!

Should Luce be descended upon, or has something priorly come down that he picked up? Applets ... the ET's bother many of the priorly firm as forming firmament ... and yet it also goes about ... like a point of the Bishop of Myra ... virtual oddity? It wobbles and weaves and fabric ensues ... albeit in patches as Dolly sang about ... of course we should note her following ...

On further MS Understood words ... considerable depth ...

Zackaria is a variant of the biblical Hebrew name Zechariah, meaning "the Lord has remembered". [1, 2]

Consider that Jack as you head to the marketplace ...

I've had to lower my expectations for project completion s.

This bronchial bug has knocked the socks off me.
Finally had a 5hr sleep stretch from 3 to 8 and followed up with a 2hr nap from 10 to 12. Crazy.

Guess I'm catching up and still healing.

Our builder asphalt driveway is laid over marshmallows that I can tell. It heaves every winter. At some point I'll rip it out, dig down 18 inches or so, put down crusher run instead of clay, and pour a proper concrete driveway. The only thing I'd need help with is placing and finishing.

I'm not installing a snow melt system. Some neighbours have that. Heating the outdoors is such a stupid flex. Get a snow clearing service, sure. Or sometimes if you have a steep slope to your driveway. But I once installed a snow melt system for a weekend ski chalet. Hated the clients. He was effectively a slumlord.

Or, you know, one could actually shovel their driveway. Just a thought
