We have had quite a few winter birds around this season. I see them out the window of my home office since there's a tree right outside. Squirrels have been very active, too, in spite of the weather.
 
My husband gave me a spotting scope for Christmas. (Bushnell Sentry 18-36 x 50mm spotting scope), along with a tripod.
I'm looking forward to sitting on the deck identifying birds.

The merlin app on my phone often will tell me that a bird is present, and give a clue based on description on where i might see it.
my hands with their tremor and my vision issues have meant a lot of frustration with our binoculars, so this new scope is amazing.

Plus there is that cool Church where they replaced the stations of the cross with famous scientists and philosophers. They still have services and a rockin pipe organ :3

Been a bad winter for my poor little car. Have lost bits on snow banks, and bumping enormous trucks that park behind me. I will order the parts; in the meantime for $30 and a bowl of chili and a perfect tuna sandwich, my big guy's mechanic friend used zip ties and black Gorilla tape to sort of reestablish some integrity in the front end for the interim, saving the fog lights for re-installation later.

And I am feeling a bit better, if only because of regular use of a hi-test puffer.
 
Oh and thanks to my brother, this Fri I am going in for a consult on dealing with my facial fur lol

It is what it is and like everything else people have to figure oot how to live with it :3

Not all of those resources have always been illegal. That has changed over time.

The general poorness of UK people means they have less "slop room" when trying times occur, because they have a much narrower, more.expensive, space of legal resources. Descriptive, rather than proscriptive.

I like finding oot things like that.

We are all similar

But also different

And we all must live in the World :3
 
Good morning! Injections, painful and not, birdsong along with retuning birds, scopes and sites for bird identification, and all the other stuff that comes up today, we carry it with us to the Coffee Cart, for conversation and support, camaraderie and community. The coffee is fresh brewed, tea water close to boiling, and the banana bread is nice and warm. All is ready, all are welcome, come join in the fun!!
