I've been watching a bunch of YouTube today. It's nice to see some change of mood south of us. There are some neat protests starting. My favourite was the Army Chorus singing the epilogue chorus of Les Mis at the White House Governor's ball.

Back to my book.
The only thing is there seems to be disagreements regarding if it was a protest. Probably a bit of both.
They likely sang it with the passion of a protest, but, it seems it is a favourite of trump's that he used in election campaigns

Spent the day trying to come to some grips with breathing. Got into see a nice doctor at the After Hours Clinic about 6. He's a bit puzzled about sudden re-onset of asthma with no apparent reason, but I've got two renewals on my favorite puffer and a chest x-ray and blood work to do tomorrow. Big guy is going to drive me around tomorrow.

Sorry to hear your breathing is suffering. I don't want to be alarmist but....if it doesn't improve maybe the doc should consider a spontaneous pneumothorax. They are often missed - mine was even with an x-ray.

Good suggestion, kay, although I've got no pain. I am simply struggling to breathe. Like a never-ending asthma attack. It's most unpleasant and isn't doing an awful lot for my temper or humor. And I've got zero appetite, and no energy. We will see.

Ty @Northwind for bringing up Les Mis

I have been thinking of that bit this whole time

Wonderful musical. I remember I was quite exhausted after I saw it in HS. I had felt every emotion

And there are reasons why the French gov't is afraid of its citizens...

I wish the US gov't had similar respect...

That looked like a fun event

there are reasons why the French gov't is afraid of its citizens...

Every government that looks at widening inequalities between the haves and the have nots should be afraid of social unrest. Historically, economic suppression and revolution go hand in hand. The French revolution is merely a handy example.

they should
too many aren't
like USA and Canada and Britain

France is my current fav example

I love comparing them to USA :3

They have experimented with soooo many more governance styles for their main Gov't than USA has

And through helping oot the USA fight off the (at the time) the world's largest Colonial Oppressor, they went bankrupt, man, that is dedication to Freedom and helping others :3

And they did a strike for steel.workers where local art students helped and it.spread to the whole world :3 GLORIOUS!!!

too bad I have only visited Paris

I wish I could live a lot longer. So much to see and find oot from actual people

Good morning! arthritis, cruises and drink packages, streaming services, protests, speech writing, breathing, and all the other things that came up or will come up, we're here for it. We gather round the Coffee Cart, for discussion, for support, and for refreshments. The coffee is fresh brewed, as always, tea water ready for use, and today we have fresh cinnamon rolls, along with some fresh fruits. Come in as you can, have a mug or cup, and the snack of your choice. All is ready, everybody welcome!

Depends on the view .... i.e. perspective!

Voids do cause problems in balanced equitability ... the labor quits ... and no one knows how to carry out the crap that's generated for the advantage ...

It may turn to be complex ... even sophisticated as a dark mystery ... lost to some colons ... ash ole going down? Prudent was lost ... prud/proud hole?

Spring is coming ... more of the wise to be laid to rest ... because the emotional powers wouldn't have the likes ovate ... aghes to be laid ...

Why? Because we still don't know any better because of the leaning towards emotional misconduct!

Which ended with a new group of haves being in power and in one of the bloodiest wars in European history when Napoleon rode it to power. Revolutions in many cases don't bring fundamental change in hierarchies, just replace the top of the hierarchy. Look at to what degree the US President is basically an elected replacement for the British monarch, e.g. his power to pardon and use executive orders. Trump is taking it to an extreme but there's a reason Don Henley referred to "the tired old man that we elected king" in The End of the Innocence (in reference to Ronnie Reagan).

Thus power is capitalistic and opposed to such materialism is another genre ... ineffable, I'm told by some powers ... and then the analogue wave ... sometime several superimposed ... to the point of digitating ... then the finger! It is all a circular effect ... cosmological circus ... consider all the dt's and ds's out there ... beyond comprehension ... BELL Lab's identified the great hiss! Binary????

Social inequality is deeply worse in the U.S. than Canada or Britain, where at least no-one is bankrupt for the crime of being ill.
Oh and I am reminded of something a Brit expat told me aboot Britain to give an indication of what life is like there; compared to USA, most of the people in Britain are quite poor and thus have trouble dealing with shocks to resource availablity or use.

Its an interesting little country. Hope I can see it again someday.

Today is a cloudy and rainy day
(a good swimmin day)

A GVRD Day :3

So when I go oot, I will feel colder than when it was minus 12
