Hugs Kay, for some results, and also for klutziness, darn, been there.

Had a good day today. Nice service, then made brunch for big guy, pancakes with real syrup and fruit salad. Off to my sisters for a visit, a delivery, a donation, and a yack. Dinner, dishes, dallying, and home for the night, with a bit to get done, now in the dark, lol.

They say nothing lasts forever eh.

Saturday was planned for a day of total idleness .We each planned a shower and nothing else much other than eating and resting. Then I checked my texts. Son's birth mother, partner and son wanted to come for coffee before heading to Alberta. We decided we could stay awake for that! Apparently, they didn't mean morning coffee and showed up as we stumbled around looking for our lunch. "No, no," says our son. "I'll go get Chinese".

Whatever happened to communication? I remember when plans were made and followed through. I felt quite embarrassed by this as I was taught that you don't fall asleep on your guests!

Good morning! Happy Monday! For oatmeal blueberry muffins, and plans to wait till spring for yardwork, for MRI's and family visits, for brunches and all the other things that make up life, we pause to gather round the Coffee Cart, for community and conversation, and, of course, tea and coffee. All is ready, come on in.

I think "Never fall asleep on your guests" should probably be on the top of list of the rules of hospitality:LOL:

The concept that nothing changes only occurs when someone is caught up and seized in solid time, or stone walled. The latter case is debated in the argument of Joshua and rounding the wall many times until the hard time gets dizzy in the spin of thered Greek philosopy entertaining a sense of Black Swan Theory on things statistically out there ... thus a penetrating skepticism by Jesus and his likely Toem ... Thomas where the light was wrapped up becaise scrolling was still a preferred philosophy to stacking the odds ...

One must always be cognizant of the 3 forces of stoicism, epicurianism and skepticism drawing on the bottom of the soul as a hanger of nadir nature ... i.e. bottom line ... where the virtue must be drawn up or a druid that takes off spontaneously! Fruitfulness in other words that fly as metaphor in the deep wood ...

Thus cracks in the Sunday Morning Sidewalk exposing shadows of what's below a certain level ... vanishing points? Where do these go if not abstract and part of what is certainly unknown as a factor in proving the arrogant could break down under some concerns revealed as paranoia of either clostrophobic or agorophobic nature ignoring the tipping point of the fringe ... yet still uncertainty in theory!

Can one redraw these by elimination theory opereating on the alternate line? Thus sucked out of the absolute darkness by that odd Black Swan again ... drifter of the nacht? Bumps in the night as touchy feely booty's ... soc's? Thundering harmonies of Beethoven ...on fragile overhead of thatch Eire? Straw soul ... implications of flame?

An eliminated psyche can do operations of Magi because or its rejection from physical reality! Uninhibited thoughts are fine if not perpetrated without mutuality to stimulate the darker side ... abstractly diabolical to the one-sided! No sense of medium where the line can be penetrated temporal agent? These may be angels that can not be nailed down as one or the other ... the Hebrew word is onyx ... then there was opal ... when the unknown was darined and the famila was no longer exciting ... for reasons not easily discussed as some found deviation as disgusting ... thus chapters of passions by rite beyond the stone bull to use a word of satire! Warped ...

Busy preparing for our trip to Alberta, leaving tomorrow. Had a great weekend camping with our Verdun family and daughter from Calgary. Picking up the house sitter this afternoon who will look after our dog and house while we are gone. Will be offline probably for most of the next five weeks. I wish everyone well and a very blessed September

Have a fabulous trip. Sounds delightful

Busy weekend, went to an outdoor concert connected with Pride, checked out some of the other things going on. Lemonade Stand Day was yesterday, checked out some and caught up with neighbours. Garage door spring broke, that got replaced today, was happy it broke on the weekend when Chemguy was around and not before I was headed to an appointment or something., It explains the crunch I heard, almost sounded like someone on the street had hit something with a vehicle.

I was debating if I would push myself and do a last minute registration for a SUP class today, but looked at the air quality forecast and it's not worth the risk, will have to leave that to next year.

I had a lovely supper with my Korean neighbours on Saturday.
Interesting conversation. O. told me that Korea’s pollution is so bad, they don’t have nice sunsets. So Korean’s fo to Malaysia where one beach is famous for sunsets. He showed me a picture, which was, well- a sunset. Then he showed me a pic of a sunset just behind our subdivision, beautiful orange and yellow on blue sky. He said- Nova Scotia - much better, can have this every day! They really want to stay here, hopefully will progress from work visa to landed immigrant.

Late to the party again, but...happy holidaying @jimkenney12 . And safe travels.

Spent the day babysitting the 21 month old grandson. He has experienced some delays in the past...needed physiotherapy to help him crawl. And he often doesn't appear very social. But, for some reason, a couple of days with Grandma, and he's busy moving furniture, and climbing on things he should sit on. I smile and admire his strength and balance, (while keeping a close eye on safety). We actually have fun together. Initially, I had worried about babysitting him because he sometimes doesn't appear to like people other than his parents. But one on one, he laughs, and plays, and communicates very well. I sing and dance a lot with him, so I think I provide a fair bit of new entertainment.

There's nothing like a bit of loving ,personal attention. Does he enjoy finger games, like Piggy went to market, and Waking round the garden?

Good idea @KayTheCurler. I can try those...I tried when he was younger and he wasn't interested. I tend to go a little over-the-top with him (hence the singing and dancing) and that seems to really appeal to him. I brought letter magnets over and put them on the fridge, and he actually giggled at that one. He loves books, so maybe seeing letters separated, movable, and on the fridge tickled his fancy.
