I am a great grandmother =shout out the news.

My daughter, Seelergirl, is now a Grammy.
My granddaughter is a mommy.

And Baby Girl is,,,,,,, well, the most beautiful baby in the world.
Born on March nine, eight pounds five ounces
mother and baby both doing well.

They live about a two hour drive away… Next week great granddad and I go down for the day and I can't wait to
h0[d Baby Girl in my arms.
Fantastic news!! My best wishes and congratulations to all the generations, including the new one. :giggle:

My mother took a turn for the worse, fever back and possibly pneumonia. Physician was not available today, so she finally agreed to the hospital where she is now on the covid unit.
Is she able to get any of the covid meds? Hopefully she'll improve soon!

Congrats Seeler! I know you were really looking forward to this.

Frustrating day, still not feeling well from the vaccine.
My GP is doing a 18 month maternity leave, she currently has someone filling in who has been fantastic, but is leaving this month, there is no one to replace here. The clinic is also closing this spring.
Booked myself into a meet and great - clinic has no covid screening, someone had an obvious runny nose with mask below his nose. The doctor said COVID risk is the same as a flu, insisted my blood is normal and doesn't understand how I can have a blood disorder, etc.

I have called multiple clinics, most are not taking new patients.

Esh - it's so hard to 'break in' a new doctor! Good luck to you in your quest.

Congratulations @Seeler.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom @Mrs.Anteater. I hope she gets good care and recovers well.

I had a good day today. I finished a bag that I'll be able to use as a carry on bag or for short trips. I'm quite pleased with the results.

I may be developing an addiction to bag making. I finished this last week. It challenged me and now holds my knitting needles.

Good morning! In the swirl of life a lot of thing, pleasant and unpleasant going. As we send our thoughts for ailing family members, as we rejoice in new birth of a new generation, as we admire the results of creativity, let us join around the coffee cart for support, community and hot beverages. All is ready, come and get it.

Have finished my RL coffee. While I contemplate making more, I will enjoy a virtual cup from the trusty cart :coffee:

How do thoughts get around the Earth? It is part and parcel of the greatest unknown ... departed in the case of those that have the great unknown confined ... or as it goes in their BS! That's everything ... all there is so we might as well dance ...

Nothing left for the unbelievers but to make out ... Jude & What? The punch lion goes unnoticed ... O' J Oye!

Sorry to hear about your Mom Mrs. Anteater. My mom is opting for a medical procedure at the end of this month that my sisters and I, and even her doctor have tried to discourage. It is a 'banding' of internal hemorrhoids. The doctor says that it will be painful. And there is always a danger of further memory loss from the anesthetic. Mom has some memory gaps now, but is still fully functional. And when I remind her of the doctor's cautions, her answer is "Oh well".

Follows with the great abduction: "it is best to know naught!"

Thus many already are aware not ... I've encountered that shockingly and declared crazy for my observations of ... well you know!

I wait for it all to slip away ...

Sorry to hear this Nancy. Would it be possible to get the doctor to advise her to not get the surgery?
