Indeed pinga - it's mostly about the fun of being together for our group - the card game is just the vehicle or means to that end. We have some folks who are "subs" - so if somebody can't make it on the specified date, they call a sub who steps in so that the game can go on. That's how I first got involved - I was a sub for several years :-)
 
Good that today is better than yesterday ChemGal. Do you sleep on your right side? Get a bit congested at night? Sometimes that happens for me. We always like to have our bedroom window open for just a bit of fresh air - even in winter!

Nope. I'm pretty careful not to sleep on that side when I think this is going to happen, as it does make it worse.

Please reconsider your posting style. I would hope you reconsider, and cease rather than disrupting your good work in the various areas.

I woke up this morning with the sinus infection that I have been fighting for a week seeming to have gotten a bit worse.

As I was dealing with it, and reading your post, ChemGal, I thought how frustrating it must be for you, both dealing with chronic, as well as discerning where symptoms belong: your illness, or the start of a cold, flu, virus, etc.
I hope you feel better soon.

Why are you two talking like this? It's like you're both in competition to be nonsensical. There's already been an report about you two in another thread, is it too much to ask you and @Luce NDs to tone down the nonsense?

@Luce NDs , what do you say? I don't know what the "Luce" in your name stands for but it would be nice to think that it could stand for "lucid".

Were the priested figures to the ancient temple allow fringes to make connections to the outliers ... powers would sooner disconnects and disambulation to keep the little people confused .. consider Ahab ... that one legged wonder!

Some people call this social disassociation if your words befuddle "M" ... and the mystery goes on beyond those contained by the belief they know everything they need t know! They could be in Eire ...

I've been healthy so far with contagious stuff *knock on wood*
This usually comes post attack, showing up after laying down for a while. Nobody really knows why though, they haven't seen anyone with this symptom before. I think it may be due to my WBC going up with attacks, which isn't uncommon. It mostly disappeared fairly quickly this morning. Made a quick reappearance as it was a busy day - HAE seminar was broadcast for the first time, lasted 3 hours longer than what I thought. A friend had a meet the baby party after, I found out about it yesterday, so it was a bit of a mad dash to grab something and show up once the seminar was done. Not a close friend, but someone I wouldn't mind reconnecting with, and despite feeling worn down, it was good being around people my age and seeing their crazy lives with a ton of kids, enjoying watching them, but then enjoying the quiet when I got home again!

I hope you're over the infection quickly!
 
Glad you had a fun time, ChemGal. Always good to hear of the antics our friends and acquaintances are getting up to.

I need to get my nettie pot out. I generally find if I kick it into gear, I can get by without antibiotics. If I have to travel before I can clear it, I will need to get something to make it go away faster. Not fun to fly with a sinus infection. (and it looks like I am flying in a week and a bit.
