Yes, P3, the eternal coffee maker is ever ready. So long as someone remembers to plug it in in the morning.
Sounds like a vaguely spiritual premise.
But maybe I just need some of that coffee. c(_)

Ah yes - one of those "if only I ran the world" momentsOh well, I'm not in charge.
Reminds me of one of my favourite movies: God Almighty.Hope you're not waiting too long Northwind.
Ah yes - one of those "if only I ran the world" momentsAn OT friend & I were commenting yesterday on her trip to Bulk Barn to pick up orders for some of us - their process was very inefficient & poorly communicated & was creating some irritation amongst customers. Topping it off was that their internet was temporarily down, creating further stress. For us OTs, looking at process is just so automatic it often seems like 'common sense' - but really its not - it's based on finely honed skilled observation & activity analysis. So we often joke about 'if only we ran the world'. I don't think we're alone in that tho.

Will use one of the black mugs today . . . c(_)
It's a gloomy day for Good Friday. And it's snowing a little bit.
I was a bit worried about how crowded the dermatologist clinic would be today. There was one person there for a doctor's appointment, the person before me was already getting into the room and the person after me didn't overlap with him.
Last week, on Friday it was pretty full in the waiting room, they closed early so had to shove a few people into earlier time slots for phototherapy and it was also running late, I think there were 5 people before me to go when I arrived. With having to cover Thursday and Friday slots all into today, I was expecting it to be about the same so was happy to see so few people.
That's a very different situation though. My first phototherapy appointment was 6 seconds of treatment. I had already been given the info on it. So it was literally, show up wait for the person before me to leave, take shoes off outside room, go into small room, undress, put up hair, but on googles, hit a button (I think it's a buzzer for the tech) step into lamps, close the cylinder of lamps, tech comes in, turns the system on, I stand there for the time when the lamp turn off I open the cylinder again, get dressed, leave the room, but on my shoes, say goodbye and leave.Hmmm. ... I have a long history of visiting psychiatrists. They're not keen on their clients i) knowing who sees them or ii) knowing each other. They have it worked out very well.
