And tea just requires someone to fill and start the kettle. As I just did. Anyone else for a cuppa? C\_/

Tea is delicious as I wait for my CT at the hospital. This is a routine scan. It's quieter here today. I imagine routine stuff has been cancelled. They had a security checkpoint at the entrance and the check in desk for medical imaging has plexiglas. Now there's a scanner for the health card which is a nice touch. The chairs in the waiting area are blocked off so in theory you're sitting 2 metres away from your neighbour. Since they are in groups of three, the one that was left for me was had just a chair between my neighbour and me. It felt uncomfortable. How times have changed. The chairs to my right have no arm rests in the sets of three so a long line of seats is blocked off. I see one with just two seats. They could move that and provide one more spot. Oh well, I'm not in charge. :)

Hope you're not waiting too long Northwind.

Ah yes - one of those "if only I ran the world" moments :ROFLMAO: An OT friend & I were commenting yesterday on her trip to Bulk Barn to pick up orders for some of us - their process was very inefficient & poorly communicated & was creating some irritation amongst customers. Topping it off was that their internet was temporarily down, creating further stress. For us OTs, looking at process is just so automatic it often seems like 'common sense' - but really its not - it's based on finely honed skilled observation & activity analysis. So we often joke about 'if only we ran the world'. I don't think we're alone in that tho. o_O:nerd:

The world is uncontrollable for sure ... yet the greatest prideful (esteemed flattery) attributes will argue that situation ...

I didn't wait long and as usual, was treated well. I had forgotten to bring my requisition for bloodwork so hubby went back to get it. I went to the satelite clinic and realized I had not paid attention to the fact it is a fasting test. Oh well, back again on Saturday :p

I was a bit worried about how crowded the dermatologist clinic would be today. There was one person there for a doctor's appointment, the person before me was already getting into the room and the person after me didn't overlap with him.
Last week, on Friday it was pretty full in the waiting room, they closed early so had to shove a few people into earlier time slots for phototherapy and it was also running late, I think there were 5 people before me to go when I arrived. With having to cover Thursday and Friday slots all into today, I was expecting it to be about the same so was happy to see so few people.

Reminds me of one of my favourite movies: God Almighty.

Good morning, time for warm beverages. The cart is ready for you. Liturgical color for the day is black; but you are welcome to brung your own, more colourful, mug.

Will use one of the black mugs today . . . c(_)

It's a gloomy day for Good Friday. And it's snowing a little bit.

What's gut about the core 've Good Friday? Could be gothic ... and thus the unknown dream of what comes up from what if (ephe)! EMerole?

Them might be Eyrole Flinn ... with certain alien attributes ... an actor pretender that Trump's all common sense? Thus we walk away ...

Yeah, we actually have a dusting on the ground here in London going back to yesterday evening. Not sure I'd want to be out there even absent Covid. Quite windy. Kettles on for the tea drinkers. c\_/

It's windy here, too.

Just popping in for a refill. c(_)

I am between two Good Friday services. Off I go to the second one which starts in 2 minutes.

Hmmm. ... I have a long history of visiting psychiatrists. They're not keen on their clients i) knowing who sees them or ii) knowing each other. They have it worked out very well.

That's a very different situation though. My first phototherapy appointment was 6 seconds of treatment. I had already been given the info on it. So it was literally, show up wait for the person before me to leave, take shoes off outside room, go into small room, undress, put up hair, but on googles, hit a button (I think it's a buzzer for the tech) step into lamps, close the cylinder of lamps, tech comes in, turns the system on, I stand there for the time when the lamp turn off I open the cylinder again, get dressed, leave the room, but on my shoes, say goodbye and leave.

There are 3 rooms for phototherapy although only 2 are in use (drugs for the 3rd type of lights aren't accessible) and the majority use the same room I do.

All I'm suggesting is that if other professions naturally manage physical distancing, others can do the same.

Good morning! The beverage cart is up and running. Let us continue to social distance, to stay well. Enjoy.
