And, oh, Mrs. A., hugs and hoping someone can help stabilize. I am eternally grateful to the woman who spent the last 15 years or so of his life with my ex-husband. They had some equal sorts of challenges, but she hung by him when the going got very very tough. It is very bad to think of one you previously loved enough to marry in such grievous circumstances.

De Ire'd Hart on the go ... like fiddler crabs expressed in the heavens ... capriciously ... said to be a state of mind ... an alien essence in and emotional domain?

Perhaps a strange essence ... like smelling snow on the winds ... there are people that claim sense of sublimation of water ... thus flakey so far! Too much science and observation involved like locating albatrosses ... they move too fast ... slippery birds on air ...

There are those that just can't see it ... transmuted thoughts in the silent wind! The madden crw'd ...

The crew is dispersing from our last night's gathering. Two have left to go home. Four are getting ready to go to grandparents for the day and some to stay overnight.

Our three are all reading quietly. Full tummies from breakfast of french toast and bacon and some fruit.

Today will be a quiet day.

Happy New Year!
Chemguy and I are both still feeling pretty bad. I was hoping by today we would have more energy as it's only a head cold. We decided to postpone our Christmas celebrations by a week as we don't feel up to getting everything ready.
Plans for today - lots of Netflix. Possibly laundry as I haven't done any since getting back.

Like Bette mentioned in another thread it looks like this house will home one more.
A friend of my youngest moved out as she split with her boyfriend. She will be moving in here Feb. 1. Good to have another young one around. She (as planned) slept in the spare room New Year's eve-after they watched the new spiderman movie and played video games.
I am charging her just a bit more than I charge my son.

So your son will live in the same home with this young woman to whom he is not married? I trust you'll stay on red alert.

Sigh. The last of our crew left. We celebrated almost continuously since Christmas Eve...one get together after another, some at our house, some at other places. Sons, daughters, and their significant others, and grandkids, sisters, mom, in-laws and friends....So wonderful! Today, I cook a belated birthday supper for a friend, and attend a Board meeting that will give me a pile of responsibilities and angst. But I think I'm ready for it. Enjoy the adventures and challenges 2019 will deliver your way everyone!

As I have mentioned I had a tough autumn health wise. I recovered from Laryngitis in time to complete a 1 day tuffet making course. All I had left to do was paint the 4 wooden tuffet feet. Then the flu and an upper respiratory infection hit. I struggled to do the day to day necessities-then as energy slowly returned I did the extras like Xmas shopping and mailing. Meanwhile those 4 tuffet feet sat on the coffee table in the living room. I bought paint and a brush. Last Sat. I finally stated painting them. Paint too thin so into paint store to get it shaken. The 31st I put on the 4th coat and yesterday attached the legs. It sures feels great to get the project done!

Famly left this morning for their long drive home. Thankful for their time with us. Tomorrow, I will take on the fridge!
