Sorry - the Roofer said he was too busy for a photo tonight.

It was a delightful day today.

Received a call with great news for Five Oaks. A real supportive action. More news later on this topic.
Received another call regarding a local grant which was received. Not a massive one, but, significant enough.
Thankful for the support received by those surrounding us.

Also, got some techie stuff done for Five Oaks, after not being present for a few weeks. All good

Seeler, I hope you recover quickly. Rest and make some specific requests, Chemguy responds better when I'm specific.

We had a lazy day here, he took the day off work, still uncertain if it's the flu. I ended up just totally out of it for a good chunk of the day. Ordering dinner online seemed like an accomplishment. He wanted a smoothie which we managed to get done, felt bad asking for his help as he's feeling quite sick but I had nerve pain going down one arm probably put some pressure on a spot in my back while napping.

Do you ever have a bad dream where someone you love is hurt?

I had one of those last night.
Woke up this morning and ping'd them, no response yet

I will have that unsettled feeling until they respond.

Chemgal, when I think of all your health problems, and what you have just gone through, I'm ashamed to have complained about 'just a cold'. I felt miserable, I wanted some babying, but I am already feeling better. I'll watch it for the next week or so. Actually I felt it coming on about a week ago. It peeked on Wednesday and I felt bad for three days. Now beginning recovery. I seldom get a cold. When I do I often end up with a dry cough long after all other symptoms have passed. Fortunately I have some perscription medication to control my cough so I can sleep at night.

Thanks everybody for your concerns - warm afghans - soothing drinks - attention.

Now could I get you to come and help me catch up on my cleaning, cooking and decorating that's been neglected while I felt sorry for myself.

I still worry about Little M at times, esp. when he's slow in responding to a text (he routinely ignores email so I don't worry about it). No bad dreams as of yet. Met the mother of the high school friend who's also at U of Ottawa and she apparently approves the idea of them being roomies next year (I say "apparently" because the conversation was in Mandarin between the two mothers so I got my info second hand ;)). Having him sharing digs with her would not be a bad thing on the worry front. She's a pretty capable, upright sort from what I've heard.

With the acute stuff this last time I was actually probably a bit better off than a bad cold. Not breathing well drained my energy, but I didn't have multiple miserable symptoms. My concern moreso was how bad it could have gotten, but the antibiotics worked.

The long term stuff and the short term stuff really can't be compared. I think we should all be able to complain about the short term stuff, it's miserable and unexpected.

Hot off the press update re the CCAC/ LHIN nomenclature question.

I received a voice mail yesterday which began:

This is the Mississauga/ Halton LHIN, formerly the CCAC.

Not technically correct but close enough.

Curiously enough, the Mississauga/ Halton LHIN covers a small portion of Etobicoke ( a suburb of Toronto.)

They are all on manual this weekend. CHRIS, their main management system, is getting a major upgrade. We are crossing our fingers. The last major change, moving to a new data centre, took their billing portal out for a week.:(

I had a think about this........
It's yes - and often when they are ill.

Bad dreams for me can occur when I know I've hurt someone - not necessarily someone I love. (I guess you'd call it a guilt dream)

I've noticed that too Pilgrim. We are busy, busy, busy. I drop in almost every day but I realize that I seldom initiate a conversation. Fingers and wrists do not always do what I want them to, and keying in is difficult - but that is an excuse. I generaally can do what I want, if I put forth the effort.
Keep dropping in; I trust that there are more people just sitting around and listening than there are contributing right now.

Yes keep dropping in ... we of blind faith can use the fallout from down-under ... an icon of transience? Tis good it comes up once in a while like Anam Cara ... old word for sol that was displaced by blind emotions w/o one clue ... the dark and silent friend ... just observing ... a science within its elves? Many misunderstand's elves as little people that are like sponges especially considering aboriginal hatred ... God of balance is old ... thus aboriginally out there?

Can hate be learned ... and love only by experience and incidents? Consider the impact of those that never inherited the fall ... tis metaphorically almost Po' ET hick in the quantum state ...

Some men of power believe thinking sol are an ass just Set in space ... like a stone. Some emotional people find a stone hard to comprehend ... thus de-stoning is possible ... and the hard part from the realist chit departs ...

Consider what The Thinker was chiselled out of as an icon ... gives dual meaning to a chiseller, or Masonic psyche ... hard to take education?

The Thinker (French: Le Penseur) is a bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin, usually placed on a stone pedestal. The work shows a nude male figure of over life-size sitting on a rock with his chin resting on one hand as though deep in thought and is often used as an image to represent philosophy. There are about 28 full size castings, in which the figure is about 186 centimetres (73 in) high, though not all were made during Rodin's lifetime and under his supervision; as well as various other versions, several in plaster, studies, and posthumous castings, in a range of sizes. Rodin first conceived the figure as part of his work The Gates of Hell commissioned in 1880, but the first of the familiar monumental bronze castings did not appear until 1904
Is this hard to take for people w/o natural processing talent ... alternative gold? The Bro. ends when the mettle is caste to swords without adequate words of meaning (yonega in Choctaw). Without 'y's' it is like Onega ... a way about reflection that's kind 'a blind to the dark cloud descending ... only for the blindly faithful in non knowing ... not investigating what they don't know ... science within it*s*elves ... ecce being an interesting exposition of integral ... attachment points?

Good morning, room.

Very mild in our area today, though it is Dec 5. You know, I don't like that.
Dog woke me up at 6:30am. I grumbled. But it is now 7:30am, finished breakfast, recycling has gone outside, and I am enjoying the room, so, maybe it wasn't a bad thing?
