YES - HAPPY SUMMER PILGRIMS! I saw that on my desk calendar & thought to myself "whaaat???" Then I saw it was Southern Hemisphere!

Sorry - the Roofer said he was too busy for a photo tonight.
With the acute stuff this last time I was actually probably a bit better off than a bad cold. Not breathing well drained my energy, but I didn't have multiple miserable symptoms. My concern moreso was how bad it could have gotten, but the antibiotics worked.Chemgal, when I think of all your health problems, and what you have just gone through, I'm ashamed to have complained about 'just a cold'. I felt miserable, I wanted some babying, but I am already feeling better. I'll watch it for the next week or so. Actually I felt it coming on about a week ago. It peeked on Wednesday and I felt bad for three days. Now beginning recovery. I seldom get a cold. When I do I often end up with a dry cough long after all other symptoms have passed. Fortunately I have some perscription medication to control my cough so I can sleep at night.
Thanks everybody for your concerns - warm afghans - soothing drinks - attention.
Now could I get you to come and help me catch up on my cleaning, cooking and decorating that's been neglected while I felt sorry for myself.
Hot off the press update re the CCAC/ LHIN nomenclature question.
I received a voice mail yesterday which began:
This is the Mississauga/ Halton LHIN, formerly the CCAC.
Not technically correct but close enough.
Curiously enough, the Mississauga/ Halton LHIN covers a small portion of Etobicoke ( a suburb of Toronto.)
Do you ever have a bad dream where someone you love is hurt?
I had one of those last night.
Woke up this morning and ping'd them, no response yet
I will have that unsettled feeling until they respond.
