My kids couldn't find very diverse friends, culturally (because there aren't very many, even now). They settled for taking on the economically and gender/orientation diverse.

No. I sent her a PM a while ago, but no reply. I do recall her saying some time ago that her husband was ill, so I worried that things may have taken a downturn in that arena.Anyone heard from @Lastpointe
Depends on how many syllables of rhyming you want. For one it's easy - and, hand, band, banned, fanned, tanned, maned, sand.
sunned, rotund, stunned, gunned, fundThe problem with rhyming "island" is that in many English dialects, folks tend to say "eye-lund" instead of "eye-land" so many of those may or may not work. Even my suggestion of "my land" only works if you use poetic license and mispronounce "land" as "lund" or pronounce island as "eye-land". In dialects that actually do say "eye-land", then hand, band, etc. do work.
Everyone I know pronounces it eye-lund, so you understand my problem.
As I recall, I ended up just using 'isle'. I'm not good at poetry.
I mostly hear people pronounce it eye-lind (lind rhyming with pinned).
