@crazyheart - I was thinking of you today and wondering how much snow you were getting! I hope you have someone willing to shovel. I spent some time baking and humming...........
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
Snow, on snow................

I understand Carman, a hour from Wpg. is getting pouring rain.
It is to cool off tonight but 90 k wind. yuck.

OMG - hoping you stayed safe & warm today in that snow crazyheart! We're having the usual crazy March weather here in Ontario - in the teens one day, well below zero the next!

-17 here. Trying to convince myself to get moving, I just want to hang out under blankets. I'm going for a massage though, so worthwhile once I arrive :)

Just got in after picking up some groceries - Tuesday is my shopping day. Overcast skies and sprinkles of cold, wet snow and rain. Temp around zero; it was clear, windy and bitter cold over the weekend but warming up these last couple of days.
Sunday afternoon, if sheltered from the wind in the woods, and Monday would have been perfect for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. God, I miss being active in the outdoors. But I have my memories.

Found out today Firazyr is being restricted in Alberta. It directly only affects those with normal C1inh HAE (aka type 3 - I'm type 2). Indirectly though I think there are effects like doctors possibly being more hesistant in administering in emergency situations.
Also, I had to read over the memo as it was split into 2 points. I was a bit lost at first if it was all HAE patients as the first point specified, 2nd didn't. Wonder if a doctor could make that mistake?

The thing is concerning too. Basically if someone with type 3 hasn't used it before they don't get it. For those type 3s who have had a positive response to it before (1 person) it is also being restricted to ONLY laryngeal attacks - nothing about tongue swells or other facial attacks mentioned. Saving money over saving lives.

Efficiency is all about increasing the value of the business head ... not the support means ... US? Thus the head renowned person eventually fails ... particularly regarding sentience!

Many are not sentient about this loop in the system ...

Bitter cold again this weekend - and windy - but nothing like Newfoundland. They are a hardy bunch over there.

I have to brag a bit - my bowling average has been in the mid to high sixties this past winter, but lately it's been creeping up. On Friday, I bowled the usual three strings - 73, 82 and 100. Wow! It seems like years since I've seen 100, and a year since I've had my average above 70. I credit the lazer treatment on my eyes helping me to actually see the individual pins. Unfortunately there is little I can do to counter the effects of Parkinsons. But I'll keep bowling as long as I am able. My name will be in the newspaper for having bowled the women's highest single string for the week.

Can singular strings survive entanglement theorems ... or just be rae Meme brrr'd ... remember Seeler I'm on a hill to the NW of you ... i'll try and keep the worst of PEWs under cover ... including the Pres. comm. on gathering of characters previously rejected ... there are some that find my open heart and sol repulsive ... and obviously going to 'eL ... where there is heat and levity ... in Leviathan proportions? Could this be Satyr US of B' os*porus ... .. a porous Skye realm? Allows fallout and falla Zae Thingy ... a great pool!

Curious for folks, when you can't hear something, do you automatically turn your head a certain way to hear better? Maybe your left or right ear is normally better.
Well, my Dad's right ear is normally better.
Here's the challenge, he lost his right hearing aid. He forgets, though, that he has lost it.
So, talking to him, what does he do? turns his head to the side that doesn't have a hearing aid.
Looking forward to resolving.

Those kind of accommodation habits are hard to break. A friend of mine has just had a hip replaced. He had suffered because of the hip for years, and had developed some physical habits to relieve it, one of them being a funny little heel lift when standing. Hip's replaced, physio's going well, but he's having a devil of a time retraining these little tics.

I sympathize with your Dad. My right ear is often deaf, and I know that I automatically turn my 'good' ear to the world (when I want to pay attention, that is...).

Threats of a "big winter storm", perhaps the last of the season, to hit southern Ontario Monday and Tuesday. Hoping it won't interfere with my Tuesday night group, which has had two "snow nights" just since mid-January.
