A little frustrated, my GP doesn't pay attention to pulse pressure at all. Would be one thing if there weren't symptoms that could be connected. When feeling better I'm going to try to do some of the same activity that really set it off and see if I can get a BP reading right away if it happens again.

Greeting cards have been deemed 'non-essential' at my local store and have been roped off.
 
Good morning! Happy Friday! In my local Independent store, greeting cards are available (Good thing, too, as we needed a Mothers; Day card). It is odd, how some nonessentials become essentials, depending on what store you shop at... anyway, the coffee cart is ready. Enjoy the hot beverages and warm relations here.

And the coffee cart shall always be deemed essential, for medical, spiritual, social, and other reasons. Kettle is on for tea. Brought a can of Tea Haus' Coronation Street blend (yes, named for the long-running British TV show), which is what I am currently drinking. Nice flavourful blend of fruit flavours and Ceylonese (I think) black tea.

And something feels a bit off about being happy that I booked an opportunity for someone to stab me with a needle, but I am. 55+ opened up for booking in Ontario this morning and I am booked. Less than 10 days, too. Next week was full but the following week had tons of availability.
 
Good morning. I'm sitting here with a heated "Magic Bag" around my neck. A few hours sitting by a campfire in a chair that makes my neck grumpy was likely a significant factor. I think I need a new pillow too. It does already feel better now that I'm upright and have the heat on it.

I've brought an assortment of cinnamon buns from a fabulous bakery in Ladysmith, BC.

I find that sometimes when I've been knitting a lot - head down posture - my neck starts to send me messages. Glad you are feeling better!
 
The obit. of a dear friend Rev. Dr. Yvette Swan was published in the York Funeral Home Site (Fredericton NB) recently.

Those that have attended GC over the years may have met her as she struggled for balance as a woman of color!

She was a significant icon ... or sign of our brutal times!

My shoulder has been giving me grief for some time. I figure it is knitting related, at least partly. I've gotten some physio which has helped. This is a flare that I hope will be brief. I'll stretch too.
 
Is anyone else getting strong winds today (besides the one or two who I know aren't far from me)? Sounds like an f-ing hurricane out there. Neighbour had to rescue my blue boxes and trash can.
 
Crazy wind here too - was going to go for a bird walk this morning, but seemed not to be a good day to be wandering in the woods. I always remember Penny's post from orig WC when her cousin was badly injured by a falling tree limb while on a hike in the woods. Happens.
 
It's been very windy here, as well, and it's cold (feels like -1, apparently). I'm not convinced dog is going to get a second walk today...
