I was feeling pretty good today, back to my usual meds. Had a good sleep after taking an antihistamine during the day (right after the testing) that normally I only take before bed, so I had tons of sleep yesterday. I was thinking today would be good for a walk. Then I went out. Nope!
The air has smelled funny for the last few days due to the fires, but today it is obviously smoke plus that sour smell. The air quality is horrible. Windows were also open, so it got into the house a bit. I am banished to the bedroom, where the AC and air purifier are
Luckily, the room is large, so I might try doing some pilates, I can play a DVD on the laptop. I also bought myself a piece of cylindrical wood - I thought it was called a dowel, Chemguy didn't think so. I can do some exercises with that to help increase blood flow to my hands & wrists to plump up my veins on a more long term basis.
I'm fed up with a brand of clinics here. The doctor who might get me help with the IVs works for one. I called to see if I could make an appointment - nope, walkin only if I'm not a patient already. Ok, I get that. They refused to tell me if any information had been sent from my GPs office though. I didn't need the info over the phone, just wanted to know if it was received, they can't tell me. I was also told that I need a file before they take information, and need to walkin for that. If my doctor had sent info, it wouldn't go into a file and would just be lost. WTF?
Figure I should just walk in, go to a different appointment, and plan to walk in after, but notice a message on my cell first. The doctor has received info from my GP's office, can I make an appointment. lol Luckily got this before I went to walk in. I have an appointment for tomorrow. Why the receptionist couldn't check this with me when I called this morning I dunno, but things worked out.
Had a good lunch with Chemguy too, so I got out for a bit which will help with mostly hanging out in the bedroom for the rest of the day.
I hope everyone else dealing with this smoke stays healthy! It's bad, it was affecting Chemguy and he doesn't have any health issues to complicate it.
