Room For All

If this is open space is there room for stray thought?

There is word going around that some powerful people support AI ... aye ... because it may prevent them from required thought and thus exponential desires find spatial dimensions?

I get the concept that many people do hate to think ... impressions from that impact?

변화, 변화, 인생은 변화로 가득 차 있다. As I shared elsewhere on Wondercafe2, at the end of this month, I won't be a pastor anymore at my current church. So that means we'll be finding a new church, hopefully one in nearby Suwon.

We're also yesterday and today in the process of moving. There'll be a new apartment, a new neighborhood to explore. Our new place is so small compared to our current. We've had to downsize, finding out pets new homes and giving away some furniture. My new home office is really tiny. We are gaining pretty good access to a Burger King

For some of us, that's more a negative than a positive but different strokes for different folks. :giggle: Good luck with the move and finding a new church home.
Thank you @Mendalla. I know many may see it that way, but I think of it as a definite step up. Right now what we have pretty good access to is a McDonald's

I kind of rank both of them at the bottom of my food chain totem pole. What I really need fast food wise is a good fried chicken joint (right now around here, that's Mary Brown's, which is far superior to current offerings from KFC and Popeye's) and a good Middle Eastern place (right now here, that's Osmow's). I had falafel on a pita from Osmow's for lunch today.

Oh... I definitely rank Burger King above McDonald's. Absolutely. Which's not to say I think of it as the best fast food around. But as I said, to me it's a step up.

I've read many people online extol the virtues of Mary Brown's, but I can't recall ever eating there. There certainly wasn't a location near our Toronto home, so we never went. Here, many people seem to like Mom's Touch as their main chicken place. If you don't like KFC much in Canada, you really wouldn't like it here. I've had KFC in America, Canada, and Korea, and imho it's best in Canada, worst in America.

As for Middle Eastern, there's probably at least one place in Seoul, but I've never seen it

They've grown a lot in recent years. I think they're even trying to get into US and UK markets now but they are really widespread in Canada. They started in Newfoundland of all places.

Middle Eastern has really taken off here, I find. When Little M moved to Ottawa (2017) the city was lousy with Middle Eastern places compared to here. Now, I'm finding even here in London, shawarma places are becoming quite commonplace.

I recall in my early travels to NFLD, encountering Mary Brown in the northern communities ... probably flourished as a change from salt cod ... back then it didn't strike my tastes ... now there was a salt cod cheese dish that was tasty as an appetizer ... Cod aux Grey Tin ... added to that between black and white matter ... the black matter slips in in the wee hours ... like Zacchaeus ... a fine myth! (about jack-ups and ET' that are related to middle eastern trees ...) How to palm that off ...

Some say just listen to the nonsense from yourself due to humanity ... they spread the oddest garble ... without question!

For me, it is the closest I've found to 70s-80s KFC, back when they were good. Not sure what the Colonel's boys did with their recipe, but it just doesn't taste as good to me these days and Mary Brown seems to have the better product.

"These days" may be the difference between your thoughts about KFC and mine. Mine are fonder, but then I haven't eaten there since 2018

Good morning! The question for the day might be, what would your go-to fast food outlet be, for fried chicken or burgers? That might fill up a few pages. Anyway, the Coffee Cart is ready to host our conversations today, as we build mutual support and community. We partake of tea and coffee, as well as enjoy the goodies prepared by our Wonderbaker. This morning we have doughnut holes in various flavours to enjoy. The tea water is boiling, coffee is frshbrewed, and dougnut holes are warm and ready to eat. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come join in the chats!

The royal version is fish and chips as designated by some past royal ... in IDe like it ... that's Jimmied as James! One has to realize the substitution of I and J in some forms of the under support ... for fishermen ... aye Sue?

Quite an alteration in how to speak ... maybe related to CS Lewis studies ... into royal forms and regulations ... clear chaos!

In the end a dying word ... colorful as a pre monarch squirming in the milkweed? Fey ... as they too migrate ... just because!

Good Friday morning, all! Hope you are all well. Forgot to note that yesterday (Aug. 6) was the anniversary of a terrible event, the first use of an atomic bomb in WWII. We'll try to remember to say something on the 9th.
We gather once again round the Coffee Cart, to chat, to offer and receive support, to develop community amongst ourselves. We also drink coffee and tea, and share in the baked goodies provided by our Wonderbaker; today the WB has made Fruit Turnovers for us to enjoy. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come join in the fun!

That balance, @Redbaron, is exactly what keeps this place meaningful.

Fruit turnovers have got me smiling already. There’s something about a flaky, golden pastry filled with sweet fruit that's a hug in food form.

I picture everyone gathered around the Coffee Cart, chatting, laughing and savouring those turnovers with steaming coffee or tea.

It’s the perfect community symbol. I’ll happily grab a turnover and join in the fun

Windfall assists those that cruise along not knowing as in belief that knowledge is evil and thus it jumps up and swallows you like a large reptillian mindless creature ... neurological deficiencies ... as holes in that which matters? That's the head thing ... the other end is another matter ... stress breaker?

Good morning, all! It is Saturday, Sunny this morning here, looks like rain later on. How is it where you are?
We gather round the Coffee Cart, to drink tea and coffee, and enjoy the baking talents of the Wonderbaker, who this morning provides us with some lovely croissants, with different spreads and toppings. We also chat, support, and connect with one another during this time.
The hot drinks are ready, the croissants are flaky and warm. All is ready, everyone is invited. Come join the fun!

Good morning

Granddaughters went home yesterday after a great week at Grandma's and camp. The girls are wanting to go next year which is great.

Im so happy.

Today i woke at 6:30 but decided to fall back asleep and woke at 8:10. Though i go to bed at 8pm with the girls, and wake at 6:30, it is a restless sleep as sharing a twin bed with an 8 yr old! That extra hour today helped reset my clock
