Nah, this wasn't walking. It was a rolling dumbwaiter with a pixelated face on the screen. The trays were behind plexiglass doors in its body.
The Japanese all-you-can-eat we patronize has similar. The robot comes to your table and a light shows you which tray has your food. Has a cute anime face and voice. It is as much for show as anything. The human staff still do a big percentage of the service. Basically the robot does stuff from the kitchen and the servers handle stuff from the sushi bar, which is a big chunk of their business.

After another morning dealing with a non caring/thinking entity ... in the cemetery ... I am swinging more towards favoring the dead ... like that light story of Krist! Imagine a flash in the dark and no one could see so feeling is bought into play ...

Then who in the general populace knows my connections with the unliving side of humanity. Dealing with those grieving is bad as they have even shorter fuses ... and the unconcerned doesn't give Adam ... the other falls after the flaming! Alter Egoes ... off in a snit ... out-of-body item of condensation?

It doth get thick ... but you cannot speak about it ...

Jay had -ism is something of the past that the present just cannot accommodate ... as consequence it cannot move forward nor back and is thus stuck as a wooden stake holding up fabrications ... expect opposition from those that are hostile to cooperators ...

Thus the former that got alone no longer do the same because of bad familiarity ... a mess in short!

Stories are often torpid ... slow moving so as to force attention ... consider the myth of soul development in a human conflict ... it is said the thing was locked in a cabinet of wet proportions ... water closets are for what? Human drainage ...

I'm told that world leaders often have difficulty with flush ... as the old stuff seizes ... hard cases? Leads to myths about bones and constructs ... invertebrates and opposed ... bate being a metaphor for drawing out ...

The exponent of universe off as flung ... as word doth fly ... getting by the solidified ... organ stones?

Kitchen still a disaster where the younger generation decided they would make things better ... consequently they find more and more wrong with the prior ...

We decided Zach wasn't up to the drive. We took a week and hit Montreal and Ottawa. Finished at my wife's family's cottage in Muskoka.

It was still fun. Zach got on a jet boat on the river. Ate well, stayed well. Montreal hotel had a robot that I thought offered treats. I thought that because while I was in the lobby getting a coffee, it came through carrying trays of mini croissants. Random kids surrounded it and raided the tray inside. I texted for my kids to come get a croissant. They were too late.

Later, I learned the robot doesn't distribute free treats. It takes food from the kitchen to the executive lounge. Those kids had mugged a robot. I was a witness to a robbery.
Sounds like a fun trip!

Good morning! Midweek is here. We gather around the Coffee Cart once more to converse and support, connect and have refreshments. The coffee and tea are almost ready, and our marvelous Wonderbaker has been busy, making squares and brownies of various types, for us to enjoy. So let us come together, ready to share our thoughts and events. The tea water is hot, coffee is finishing the brew cycle, and the baked goodies are arranged nicely, ready to serve. All is ready and waiting; everyone is welcome to join in!

Sending stuff home with my daughter brought to light some stuff on a top shelf. Want to share your thoughts on an antique , neat up, barely playable, silver plated cornet??????? Likely dates to early 1900.

Was hoping for rain today, but looking like it will pass us by.
I got dumped on at lunch. Went to buy, ironically, a new umbrella for my car along with takeout for lunch. No rain when I left the office. Only spatters as I left the store. Downpour with lightning and thunder by the time I got to the office 10 minutes or so later. Now the sun is coming out.

Walked to Zach's tutoring session at the local library in the rain. My wife stole my truck this morning and my daughter took my wife's car to her volunteering gig with grieving kids.

Tons of weather threats today, from hail to tornadoes to thunderstorms. Nought. Glad I replenished the water bottles, lol.

Had a celebration dinner tonight for my daughter's end of semester exams. Calculus and reinforced concrete this week, and she's free for another three weeks until fall semester starts.

Peach cobbler is a lovely thing. Especially with Kawartha Dairy new ice cream flavour - The Tragically Chip. I recommend. Maple whisky ice cream base, with a dark cherry ripple and dark chocolate chunks. Pretty amazing.

Good morning! Sounds like yesterday was busy for us, pond water level lowered, finding an old musical instrument, walking in the rain, places where very little rain came, and lots of weather watches and warnings around. Right now we have a fog warning here.
Anyway, through fog or rain, sun or clouds, we gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart, to chat, to support, and to connect. This happens over tea and coffee, and the Wonderbaker's efforts. Today the WB has created scones, and has provided several spreads and toppings for them. The tea water is boiling, the coffee is freshbrewed, and the scones are warm from the oven. All is ready, all are welcome! Come in and join in the conversations!
