Some places in Europe- France, Switzerland, got up to 120 cm of snow in a short period of time- resulting in chaos, emergencies and death for some. I think we are ok here….

Ugh. Didn't hear about that from any of my European contacts but I don't think we have any members from France on that site and only one from Switzerland who has not been around much recently.
 
What a busy day. The boys went golfing so the girls went out for lunch. We came back and visited at the site, then started a fire. Friend made soup and biscuits which we enjoyed for dinner then continued to chat around the fire. I'm pooped now. I head treatment yesterday so feel a little yucky because of tired. Feet are up and tomorrow will be a quieter day.
 
Good morning! After a night of loud thunder, heavy rain, and lots of flashes of lightning, in this area, a calmer day today. The weather, treatments, golf, meals, and time around a campfire, all of this and more; pls what happens today, comes to the Coffee Cart with us for discussion, support, and camaraderie. Today we have leftover hot cross bus, as well as squares and brownies to indulge in. The coffee is fresh brewed, tea water is at the boil, and baked goodies fresh from the oven. Come in when you have a chance, have some refreshments, and join the conversations! All is ready, everybidy welcome>

We left church in silence yesterday and I didn't speak to anyone until I got home. I have often thought I would like to try keeping silence from the Good Friday service until Easter morning.

Mr Paradox thinks I couldn't possibly do it. :D
 
Last year I missed all Easter church services due to Covid. This year it is due to surgery recovery. I’m planning an easy brunch for family though…10 of us but that includes 4 grandkids. My husband will help a lot, especially lifting heavy pots. Happy Easter everyone!
 
It is difficult for a person to be silent in the shadow of Roman brutality used to ensure that people worshipped a material god ... no essence? Not-a-Q' Loo ... a' queer ean ... drip! Vapor ...

This rases questions in my Shadowland (night of soul) as we are close to shut-down ... and inevitably the board will be blamed for something missing ... resources! The the peculiarity of being approached to speak at a neighboring church ... about the character known elusively as so' Ule ... the incarnate item of concern! Ani was once a word of worry, bother and response ... and thus the divide between anima and anim'n ... variant to ani mae? Imagine a hollow straw or cane ... these may draw up or act as a drain ... and thus what ever was there flows off ... like thoughts that are uncultivated in the garden! The garden is debatable ... as some cannot see cultivating essence ... it appears in artwork ... chores of presentation of the sacred! Artsy ... you just know you'll be whipped ...

In the news this morning 15 year locals ... wintering residents of Florida have returned home permanently due to threats from Floridians! In the shadow of that some US residents returning from Canada have been detained. An American Professor of Law working in PEI has noted that boundary effects have become very unstable because of power impressions ...

Even turkeys will duck, or at least devise some means of pardon! Look toxic and strange and few can stand it! All that is required in a bit of unknown ... the character detected by the overly subjective? The object? Beyond the bulk ...

Today will be a sloth day after a busy day yesterday. We move to another park for the summer in just over a week. Lots to do. I may do a couple small tasks today. Depending on if the spirit leads.
 
Taxes done. Groan. Oh well, I blew off steam afterwards with a spin on my exercise bike while rocking to a Nightwish concert from 2022.

Hah.

I had high income two years ago, so my tax installments were high last year.

I'm getting a hefty refund, but only because my installments were so high.

And to you, as well. Glad to hear that recovery is going well, and that husband is filling in the heavy lifting.

I think the big guy might be going to the sunrise service. I will be at the 10:30 service. We'll have brunch together after service, then we're hosting my neighbour friend and my daughter for dinner (and both need picking up and delivering home). End of a busy week and the next is looking busy as well. Having finished Easter, I start thinking about plant sale and VBC planning. No rest for the wicked, eh?
