Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Good morning! How are we all? Looks like a nice later winter/ early spring day in these parts today. Hope it is nice where you are too. We gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart for conversations (serious or less serious), mutual support, and community. Plus it's a grand opportunity to drink coffee and tea, and indulge in some snacks. Today we enjoy croissants, The coffee is fresh brewed, tea bags ready, and croissants are warmed nicely. Come in and join the conversations! All is ready, everybody welcome!

Crazier 'n Elle ... Patsy Cline with a point about human rationale! They just don't get it ... disorder is thus collected in pokes ... not enthalpy but the essence of entropy ... so the tropic night can produce bugs ... had EI? There are ups and downs ... be cautious with what's up there ... DOC? Did you get stuck?

It just won't come down ... thus time out! If you depart and look back ... it is dumb founding ... stacked people on a stick? Kahn Dice ... sweet rolls ... poly ladise ...

We have added various berries to our yogurt for many years, including Haskaps.
I have berries and nuts on my cereal for breakfast. The berries are usually one of blue, rasp, or strawberries. Sometime blackberries, too. Depends on where we shop and what's on sale.

Good morning. I'm feeling decent so far and may tackle a much needed task today. One of several. Only one though has a chance of being addressed.

We've been enjoying hot cereal for breakfast lately. We alternate between rolled oats, steel cut oats and Red River Cereal. We have frozen blueberries from the farm where we spent the last two summers that go very well with those cereals.

We have added various berries to our yogurt for many years, including Haskaps. I see no reason to buy a product to do that. Prepared foods usually contain various additives that may be less healthy for our bodies than the basic ingredients.
oh i grok

this is Kaslo -- we have a regular store like the big cities have but most of our food is gmo free etc etc
the ingredients in this particular product is good as well
no colourants or preservatives or the usual suspects
(we even have people here who don't drink our fresh water because they are concerned aboot the mine runnoff in our river -- they buy giant plastic jugs filled at our special stores)

I need to spend some more time in the health food/organic grocery place that opened up near me. I went in once to get something we could not find anywhere else but have never really checked out things like their organic tea selection or what they have by way of all-natural cereals. :giggle:

we are big on local and fresh and health through natural things and nature

so a lot of people know what herbs and plants are good for what parts of our bodies and so on

I've been disappointed with the cereals at health food stores. They tend to have more sugar in them than the cereals I eat.

Seriously?? I guess sugar could be considered a "natural additive" as long as it's in the form of honey or some basic kind of sugar, not high-fructose corn syrup or refined white sugar or something like that. But still, that's interesting. It would be a problem for some of us, for sure.

@KayTheCurler
What do you think of the Haskap?
This was my first time :sneaky: and now I am an evangelist :3

I hear there is at least one local here who grows them

I also have a friend in Kamloops who has a farm where in season they sell Haskap berries

Well my tasks didn't get done. I have though made good progress on a hat.

My ignore list just got another person. I'm tired of his ongoing insults and arrogance. I don't need to continue to feed his trolling.

I like hats. My wife knits me a new one every couple of years. Did I mention my "f*** OFF" hat? The letters are there, medium grey on medium grey. Very difficult to see.
