Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Good morning! Hope all of us are well. My, oh, my... Bible reading plans, calcium sources, friends dealing with MAID, crankiness, scrolling past posts that one finds offensive, all the other stuff that went on and goes on, we bring it all to the Coffee Cart with us, which make this such a fascinating place to be. That, and the wonderful coffee, tea and never ending baked goodies. The coffee is always fresh brewed, tea water always ready, and the doughnuts always warm. Come on in when you can, have a mug or cup, and treat, and join the conversations! All is ready, all are welcome.

Assimilate everything within reason ... the entire thing is God and conflicted ... thus the friction ... heat of the diabolical enigma?

In a lifetime many would not journey that distance ... abstract, you know! Is there more in the darker and unseen domains? Questionable ...

Accept it mortals can only take so much and then they are done ... rejuvenation? That too is debatable depends on the bate ... folk lure? A good story will draw in everything ... good, bad, ugly and the that other Magi ...

In the IO Declarations is there one that says:
  • Honor thy Patriarch and the Matriarch?

thus the friction begins ... unresolved because of the divination! What if the genre is all vapor, essence? ... ectoplasm ... very thin matter? Limbic fluid ...

Well the atmospheric river is flowing. We're getting heavy rain right now. It's expected to last the day at least. We had planned to go to a local outdoor market this morning. We're not going now. We may go to a different market tomorrow then for lunch at a nearby pub that makes great pizza.

I'll be going to my monthly group at the library. The ladies in the group are pretty wonderful. Lunch with them may also be in the plans.

What I miss most about dairy is the calories. I am still losing weight, because nothing replaces the fairly vast quantity of butter, cheese, cream and yogurt that used to comprise a lot of my diet.
Becel makes a plant butter that replaces dairy butter very well. We use it for cooking.

Woke up to frost which turned into +18 degrees and wonderful fall weather. Went to the first craft fair of the season- it was packed. Bought two jars of chow ( green tomato) as a Christmas present for a friend’s sister. She lives in Ontario now and apparently it’s unknown or hard to get there. Goes on fishcakes. Supposedly a NFL / Maritime thing. I wouldn’t eat it myself. Got a jar of mustard pickles for myself.
To orrow same weather forecast- got to get to clean up my second shed which has mouse poop all over it.

Isn't "plant butter" just another name for margarine?

Of course it is. But one needs to watch margarine, because some of it has milk solids in it.

I tried the daiya plant based feta crumbles tonight. Texture is okay, salty, no taste at all and almost no calories. But they were only 7.49, when my sheep's milk feta is up another dollar to 13.49. I really do dislike life without cows milk dairy. I crave butter and cheese.

No, worse. My childhood cow's milk protein allergy has resurfaced. Lactose intolerant is considerably easier. I literally have to scan labels for milk ingredients. It's awful, but the consequences are unpleasant.

B get stomach cramps that last about a day if the food contains cow butter, milk, cream, modified milk ingredients, or any other product that contains protein from cows milk. Need to look carefully all the time. When we first met, dairy products caused her to be congested. After a while it went away. About seven years ago it returned in this form. Beef can also bother her stomach.

My one great niece just cleared it. She is ecstatic. As are her parents. She is 6
