Random fits into Quantum Theory if only by chance someone learns something of the great out there ...

Many psychotics go too far into the dark for their capacity for memes! This makes them neurotic ... very tense and stressed. Then some learn to back up, or off until better aged! It is like a great whine in the trees ... the trunk effect ... there in the shade feelings erupted! Some never felt better and alternate some never felt worse and thus the best and worst of times ... best aya'll! Love is like that ...

Well, I tested positive for COVID yesterday. One week out from my second booster. Damn.

Feels like a head cold, BUT I won't be at work this week, and my Thanksgiving dinner plans are shot, although I'm sure that the neighbour who invited me will send one of the boys over with a plate for me.

Ah yes
I see your plan is working
Thanksgiving to go
Nice :3

Here is hoping for a nice mutation or two...one that will result in a new Virus mutation that will confer natural immunity to everyone :3

Or maybe something neat, like chromatophores in your skin? :3 So you'll be able to communicate akin to squid semaphore :3

Maybe this virus will eventually become as important as that ancient virus where which we got necessary genes for our placentas?

Who knows
Evolution is neat

Sorry to hear this Bette....hope you feel better soon and the the symptoms are mild or at least tolerable.

It was but now it seems to be the predominant early symptom, or so they are saying.
It's the government guidelines being wrong which I find odd. Maybe UK was always wrong? Here the list of symptoms was rather extensive.

Not sure. I did not have a sore throat myself and I don't recall that anyone in the family did. Mrs. M had a sore throat and tested but that came back negative and was a month or two before we actually had it. I had a headache, fatigue, and a fever mainly for the first three days, then a cough.

Wasn't sore throat included in symptoms fairly early on?
I don't think so, but a moot point now I suppose as we keep learning & the virus keeps evolving. When my husband was ill at the end of July, he had a very sore throat - which got so bad I thought maybe he had strep. When I looked it up at that time, I didn't see it as a COVID symptom so off we went to the health centre in BC in case he had strep (or something) on top of COVID. Doc there said that although the literature was not listing sore throat as a symptom, anecdotally he had seen many people start coming in with sore throat as primary early COVID symptom. So that was interesting.

AHS tried telling me I had to legally isolate after I had an attack from the first vaccine due to a sore throat. It wasn't correct, but they were basing it on sore throat alone (I had called to report). Chemguy had to isolate at one point too, he wasn't really sick just a short term sore throat. Not sure if he had to get a PCR test that time, possibly not as it was a short duration, I think I missed at least one treatment due to it though.
I know the symptom list changed over time, but I didn't think it changed much after late 2020.

Sore throat is currently the 3rd point for symptoms on Alberta's COVID website, and fairly certain they didn't update that recently.

ETA - sore throat was being used as criteria for testing early on, spring 2020. I grabbed a video from April as they took down all the old test postings.

Boo for the Covid news. Yay for having a lovely neighbour.

Friends may be churchy or not ... thus Liberty Valence!

One part of this is beyond the powers ... the powers tend towards piety and straight lines ...

Further upthread I mentioned that I came down with a sudden severe case of arthritis in my hands. Although I wasn't sure what was causing this severe pain in my hands at the time, after 5 doctors looking at them, each with a different diagnosis from carpel tunnel, to rheumatoid arthritis, injury, etc.....rheumatoid arthritis was the final diagnosis after xrays and blood tests.
Personally I was confused by the sudden abrupt onset......I settled on a "reactive arthritis diagnosis personally" and I felt sure it was caused by a virus because of caring for my daughter at the time. I was in and out of hospitals with her and long waits in emergency.....with a fair chance of exposure to Covid. (plus her C-diff)
Now this is now confirmed to be another Long Covid symptom, which was a suspicion for me all along....Covid can cause psoriasis and arthritis or both.
My arthritis is now less severe and I'm able to cut back on the anti inflammatory drugs plus the pain is less severe. This correlates with a "reactive arthritis" to me personally which usually takes 4 to 8 months to clear up. By the way my doctor rolled her eyes and stated basically, "give it up, you're old and old people get arthritis". Hey I can accept the old part but the sudden onset with no history of arthritis with me or any family member was disturbing to me.

Recently when researching RA I came across an article in one of the major research hospitals that linked RA and stress syndrome (not a new idea) which is rejected by a lot of individual health authorities. It also connected long COVID to stress consequences. RA has a long association with anything from ALS to Lupus. One of the comments is that RA is somewhat of a mysterious disease ... and then we have to ask what medical authority that disagrees amongst themselves ... what do you know for sure. I have had to deal with specialists that do not seem to differentiate between smooth and fibrous tissue. Tendons, cartilage, as the gristle that makes up heart valves is prone to RA ... but many experts debate what is what. The list of irregularities in what these people agree about is astounding.

I repeat; I'm a dummy but the things I've learned are below many horizons ... for instance the nature of prion infections in humans as twisted DNA/RNA ... mysterious ribbons in our most sacred places ... what many people do know are not shared for particularly alien rationale!

Just for interest ... I am fighting a bad case of polymyalgia that has a rough end to the story ... they have ignored some very obvious cross connections between neural and physiological systems ... as if like: Who really cares or gives a damn?

The answer is this skill of care is defunct and spreads in the collective ... what we call populace or paradigm! There are damning statistics that many ignore ... as it cannot be true.

There are several organizations studying the toxicity of organic lipids of the phosphates. This is vastly denied be cause it is too important to industrial quickness. Let us not forget that all elements on the earth are necessary for life ... but there are limits that define malnutrition and toxicity on either side of the healthy field. Imagine the greatest administrators screwing up this process for private game!

Then of course there is the situation of learning something or turning to vast denial ... knowledge and intelligence seems to carry a sense of distaste ... how could this be? Is it stoic ...

Des labour in this world need to have applied stress to accomplish what is diabolically expected by god-sol? Not the sol of my God ... but that appears beyond common ... common being a homo-gene! Twisted information ...
