The Foothills delta outbreak numbers keep growing. Good portion were fully vaccinated. Alberta doesn't have the same numbers of the delta variant in general, are other places tracking cases in those vaccinated?
Info I really want (for all variants or the wildtype) is how those who are vaccinated end up fairing - and not just severity short term. Things like heart damage that is seen in mild cases, long COVID, etc. I know Alberta is tracking severity, I think they are giving way less information about (potential) long term effects for those who were never hospitalized.
 
I received the 2nd Pfizer vaccination in a parking lot where a long line of cars waited for the vaccination. After I left, a man who had just been vaccinated suddenly died at the wheel and ran over an emergency care worker! Here there are rumors of a massive govt. cover-up of fatal effects of the vaccine on some. Shortly after the vaccine roll-out, one of our larger local Methodist churches had 2 services, one a no mask service and the other a masked service. There was considerable tension between the 2 congregations over the efficacy and need for the vaccine. Most of my friends have refused to get vaccinated, despite my pleas and medical arguments.

Be advised that the incident in this post may be false information. Despite several requests for further information, or a link to news media reporting this occurrence, the poster has not responded. Until such confirmation is supplied, the event noted in this post is questionable.

Sigh. I hear stories from the US but never sure how much is media hype. I'm starting to wonder if it even still possible to exaggerate about stories from the US. Glad you're fully vaccinated, though. I still don't know when I'm getting number 2 (also Pfizer) but should be sooner than originally booked anyhow.

And still because of the stoic belief in avoiding the knowledge tree there are difficulties for some folk regarding differentiating between myth and a virtual lie ... even when laid out in mythology (considered a study requiring depth of soul)! Maybe a process parallel to endogeneity ... where desired results differ from the statistical facts! A vast void or just agape ...

Can you supply an official link to verify this?

Everyone here has to wait for 15minutes after their shot so sudden, catastrophic reactions can be promptly dealt with. So far I haven't heard of any.
 
Evidence that vaccination works, plus summer is here. Or, like the 17-18 flu pandemic, it has run its course.

I'm totally cool with the acrylic barriers staying up. I think they've been great theft and germ protection. I would give a great deal to unmask and put on some coral lipstick. Between allergies and drops and blonde eyelashes, my eyes are not really "decoratable". So I like a nice bright lipstick. I make do with amusing masks (the kids love the Batman ones), and demonstrating my sister's crocheted cotton ear savers, which are designed with a hole in the middle for a braid or ponytail or small bun. And I don't mind the idea of voluntarily wearing a mask when I feel contagious, or during flu season, or even during high pollen or pollution season. But that mask-free-ness is a feeling I'm really looking forward to. I do have a life history of asthma, much relieved now that I don't smoke tobacco, so masks feel, still, quite confining to me.

Hair ends up looking like poofs on both sides above my ears.
Absolutely hilarious.
 
We went out for supper last night the restaurant was loud and filled to the reduced capacity. There was lots of plexiglas and distance so felt safe. It was nice to be in a place with a lot of chatter and happy people.

The Witch of Endor is the most frequent descriptor of my uncontained hair. It's very curly, very long, and most inappropriately coloured for its age (there's almost no grey, but there's a lot of blonde, copper and brown...)

You have been asked at least twice in this thread for more information, such as a link to a news report, about an incident to which you refer in Post # 7582. So far you have not done so.

As Covid-19 and vaccinations remain somewhat controversial subjects of discussion, and fuel a lot of false reports and rumours, Council would like some assurance that this incident is, in fact, something that actually happened. We would appreciate it if you could provide a link to a news report, or at least the town when this allegedly happened, and the date to when it took place, Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
 
Germany had the highest birthrate in March of this year in the past 20 years. The timing for conception falls to the weeks of opening up after the first wave lockdown.
Similar increase in numbers was observed in other European countries.
 
Wow. The response from Mystic to provide some proof of his fairy tale is a bit underwhelming. Are we a fake news site? Better start advertising, and you may as well bring Rita back; I thought that's what she got banned for?

THere was an interview on CBC this morning saying that there is doubt the expected bump in birthrate will happen due to the ongoing economic uncertainty at least partly related to the pandemic
