Something I missed a few days ago, there's a medical grade plastic shortage. Major impact is blood vials. So only urgent lab tests are being done. Seems like medical care is getting hit from many directions.

Is there someone that can accept the reason of instability in the economy as they tried to mount it and ride off with it? It may be roue 'L satyr ina shady illumination ... gone quickly in the glow ...

Margins must be shaved ... thus the fates of the fringe ... as some demon gathers the blossom parts! Ide Ota'm ... potentially ill informed ghailigh ... hot of an illegitimate pressing! It is a condemned tongue ...

You sort of have to wonder if there's an attempt to avoid any more scrutiny of lockdown socialization on behalf of Boris and crew.

I
As I understand it, it is declining COVID rates combined with a fairly high vaccination rate. But I haven't delved much. I have heard that the NHS trusts and other healthcare groups are not impressed.
I wonder if the Queen is impressed? She has Covid...though so far it seems mild.

She's not going to say anything publicly though I find it hard to believe that she has any fondness for their buffoon of a PM and his half-assed COVID policies.

Was her son vaccinated I wonder? He has been a supporter of pseudoscience for quite some time.

And alternative medicine? Well, yes, some of it is claptrap, but not all of it. It's hard to weed out the total crap from the semi-crap. In the "total crap" area, I'd put ear candling and homeopathy. Near crap might be essential oils and quite a lot of supplements. I'm not sure about reiki, but I'm into qi gong. Of the "not crap", I'd pick chiropractors and DCM/accupuncture.

I'm happy to see the lowest number in a while for wastewater. Definitely a delay, it's from the 18th and wasn't available this morning. The data is noisy, I was concerned that the restrictions that were dropped were already leading to an increase.

This BA.2 variant seems a bit concerning. All reports say it's even more transmissible than BA.1, but I'm reading conflicting results about the severity of symptoms, one article suggesting more severe ones.

With all the lines of COVID and offspring ... wheel strangle ourselves ... more on that line of enough cordage and hangings!
