Yeah, it is, but it isn't getting the press it should. In fact, wastewater data here has been showing Omicron waning for a while now. Not sure about other Ontario centres. Keep in mind that we had some of the first identified cases of Omicron in Ontario so it's been active here for quite a while. Others might lag us.

When I looked last week, the valleys of this wave were actually matching the peaks of the others.
I do feel like it's publicized well, unfortunately though the data isn't getting the same amount of help from the province. The system is a little rough and it lags by days, not much of an explanation as to how much of that is due to testing vs. just putting the data up there.
 
Will lower end support systematically capitulate as those that didn't have to concern themselves much being administration ...

Thus extension of humane error ... indicating separation from God Sol ... a distant thought?
 
The reality is that having two vaccinations makes aonly a small difference with the transmissability of the Omicron variant,. The requirement for a vaccine passport was more effective as an incentive to get vaccinated to lower hospitalization rates, not significantly lower transmission. Lowering transmission was the justification for requiring the passports, and it lost its legitimacy.

There was also the justification of people being in places where it's more likely to transmit and keeping their need for treatment lowered.

Yes it seems like the passports were effective in increasing uptake of the initial two doses of the vaccine.

So here's what I don't understand. Why wouldn't the provinces use the same strategy to get the booster numbers up? It wouldn't be terribly complicated to change the definition of "fully vaccinated" as of a certain date.

I am also puzzled why so many citizens are electing not to get boosted. There was a big rush on appointments when they first opened up.

I still can't get my booster.

Can you tell me how long the booster lasts?
 
Mr Paradox and I fully expect we will be getting our fourth shots within 6 months of our third ones.

But what's the timeframe between doses?
That's my issue, I do know AB had reduced it but still there are likely still people caught up with waiting.

At this point we don't really know, and things will likely change depending on variants too. Would be very odd for it to be less than 6 months for people with normally functioning immune systems.
I do hope that before 2nd boosters are being done we actually have a better vaccine match for what's circulating.
