jae - you find CBC a biased news source? Please give us a hint about what you endorse as unbiased sources. National Post? Canwest? Global?
Almost all news sources in North America are heavily biased. (That includes the New York Times.) They always have been since the development of the modern newspaper almost a hundred and fifty years ago.
The CBC is far the least biased news service on this continent. It has to back off some topics because of political pressure. But, in general, it is far, far the best in the business.
For other news services, I would suggest The Guardian (Britain) and Haaretz (Israel). (no, I would not suggest BBC which has gone sadly downhill.)
There are also some good sources on the web - Rabble.ca has columns by excellent Canadian journalists. There's Common Dreams, Information Clearing House, The Saker, Global Research, The Intercept.
And, of course, there is the ultimate source - The Decarie Report.
But I know of NO commercial news medium (except Guardian and Haaretz) that can be trusted. Almost all commercial news media are owned by the very, very wealthy - who use them for propaganda to benefit themselves. Down here, we have Brunswick News, owned by our local billionaire. It is the worst newspaper chain I have ever seen. - nothing but trivia, sob stories.... And always favourable to the billionaire. I read a paper carefully - but every day I get through my local Moncton Times and Transcript in two minutes - tops.l
