Yes. A rose bush. It looks quite like mine which I get rose hips from in august. So keep an eye on it. It nice rosy red hips appear ask if you can pick some. For tea, jam...... lots of people don’t bother picking their hips ( the part which is unde the blossom). Some are olive shaped, mine are roundish

I haven't seen any in my area. There are lots near the coves by the university.

I hope this works. I have a better photo app on my iPad to shrink the file size for uploading. This one requires that I watch a video game ad to remove their logo and I usually have to go back and forth between my photos and the app, cropping it a few times.

okay...I made this collage with one app but now I'm going to use a different one (I can't get rid of watermarks on that one without watching long video game ads). Flowers I saw in gardens around my area today, while riding around.

lovely photos Kimmio - thanks for sending a breath of spring our way! It will be -5 here tonight . Sigh.
Spring's in full bloom now (including flying stinging things :( there's a new hornet that hitched a ride here from Asia, that apparently has a bad sting. I don't think I've crossed paths with one yet.)

I find with my scooter, and plenty of time, I'm really slowing down to appreciate the sights I see. Small but pretty little crops of various blooms and greenery that catches my eye.

I heard that those nasty stinging things are considered delectable by praying mantises.

Maybe there's one in the "bug zoo" here (or was because it's probably closed - what'd they do with the tarantula I heard was there?). It's a tourist attraction I am not one bit interested in visiting! But a friend of the family worked there as a summer job in the past, and she said it was busy - also, lots of school field trips went there.
