When our county gets vaccines for the public, they have readied a plan they call Hockey Hubs. Not sure if this is just us or province wide. It sounds well thought out. There will be 150 client pods in five rows. Each row has one nurse. Who goes pod to pod giving the vaccines. The client stays put and is processed by a non nurse. And the clients stay while waiting post vaccine. But because there are thirty pods in each RNs row he or she just keeps moving along. Able to do five times the number of clients per day.
our arena has already had the ice removed. partly because the province closed indoor skating and for our small town too expensive to maintain without hockey and skating. Partly to get ready
now we just need the vaccines
our health unit has 140,000 people. One death. Usually tone or two cases a day. Currently 26 people on self care at home, none in hospital. pretty good record
