Yeah our special weather statement yesterday didn't amount to much. Enough gusts to shake the trailer and bring a hail of tree branches and pine cones raining down on us for a few minutes.
 
Rain, snow with high winds, sunshine with high winds, positive single digit temperatures here. It was chilly for our walk along the canal in Grenville.
 
Will be cold here later this week. I was hoping we were past that, no luck. This winter has been a fairly cold one, I enjoyed the last few weeks of warm(ish) weather!
 
It was a nicer day than expected. Sure it was overcast. It didn't rain and it was quite bright. It was warmer than expected. All a bonus.

I went to a knitting group at a local mall. It started meeting when there was a yarn store there, and continued after the store closed. It was a nice group.

We've changed our plans for the summer again because of gas prices. We'll go to the mainland for the month of May then return to the island. We're booked in from the end of May until mid-July at a park we stayed at in 2020 and will be at another park in September. Now to fill in the rest of the summer. Wish me luck

Not really. It's usually a source of trouble and consternation around here. The local university and college students often party a bit too hearty (as in trashing properties and even police cars). And my Irish connections are pretty slender. My family tree is mostly English with some Welsh and a wee dram of Scots. :giggle:
 
My husband's roots are Irish (father was from Ireland).
We typically don't do much, but, had planned a trip to Ireland for the fall until my s-i-l had an injury.
Rescheduling until when she can come.

Yeah, very spring-y here right now. Hoping it stays that way. Snow is almost gone and I had a nice walk around the neighbourhood for my afternoon exercise.
 
Last day of March and it is snowing now with the prediction of of it turning to rain later with about a total rainfall close to 25 mm.

We just had rain most of the day. Supposed to be more later today. Temp is starting close to the high and then dropping, too. So, Spring being Spring, I think.
