Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Today is my last day on the medical floor volunteering. Next week i start in ER. Shorter shift but it's likely a good thing.

Our weeks have been so busy lately. I'm hoping the days get less full but medical and dental have been consuming, plus i am enjoying writing and Toastmasters initiatives

Just need to get busy sewing. Hopefully this weekend

How important is over-run in the siege mentality when behaving like anting up at a picnic while picking apart a neighbor?

Picnics may bear heavily on the fattening up process ... ask any hostile friend!

Is it best to get into the drug trade heavily when getting a sense of woozy? Shoot them all up ... for nothing makes sense otherwise as the left-over folks see what went wrong in the firmly right ... a back-up motive? Thus those stand-up Don Qui*et ...

Big outing today. I went to the library to return a book and to pick up one that I've had on hold. I live in the south end of town and this branch is north end. There was a crash at our intersection so I had to go through town to head north. No biggy. After a rainy morning, the sun was shining and the drive was nice. I went to the mall to get some tea, then headed home. I was able to take the parkway home rather than go through town. It was a nice outing. Now I'm having tea, watching YouTube and knitting my f*** cancer hat.

We smoke pot. I have non-smoking friends and we don't smoke inside when they're around, we will vape in my den. I think we all need to be courteous.

Dinner plans;
B - no cow's milk protein
C - gluten sensitive, no soy, MSG or turmeric
D - no rice pasta tomatoes garlic or onions
E - no coconut
M - not mad keen on goat cheese but he copes

I don’t mind pot smoke up to a certain level. When I am smothered by the cloud our neighbour is spewing that's too much

Excess is a problem ... an enigma at all levels of moderation!

May lead to oddities and madmen ... just look about!

How to beat the fundamental temporalist in time for escape from the order into a cloud of ecstasy ... they he went just smoke nit toward the visible horizon while some ask did the military get and enormous unidentified sum from China or Russian friends?

Some declare it is best to know nothing ... thus my grandfather's dream ... nothing like it! Considerable deficiency come along when you've had enough ... word play?

Many hate word because of the lack of understood terms ... they can be extensive ... way beyond norm ...

I wonder if people have different perceptions. For me, pot smells like skunk and I wonder how anybody would willingly be around it. Maybe other people don’t perceive it that way. Or maybe the first effect of pot is that you don’t smell it anymore….

There is this thing is chemistry: if you smell 10ppm of H2S or less be cautious. If the smell disappears you better get out of the area ... above 10 ppm it is getting fatal! Emotions are like that ... a mere look can kill ...

Agreeing with @Mrs.Anteater about the skunk smell. I think she is probably right that people who smoke the substance stop noticing the smell. Same goes for the smell of alcohol when you think about it.

Good Saturday morning! Days of reading and finishing ebooks, driving a scenic route to the library, volunteering in a new area of the hospital, reactions to pot smoke, and impossible dinner arrangements... sounds like we've been busy! These thoughts, plus what arises today, join us at the Coffee Cart, for discussion and support, connections and camaraderie. We do this over tea and coffee, and baked goodies provided by our reliable Wonderbakery. This morning they have provided us with butter tarts, some with raisins and some without, to savor. The tea water is boiling, and coffee is finished brewing; and the tarts are warm. All is ready, and all are welcome. Come join in the conversations and refreshments, and enjoy!

Funny enough, I have always quite liked the smell of skunk. I mean not on my dog in my house, but outside as a thing one smells? More interesting than awful, says my nose. I've also anecdotally linked bad effects from cannabis to those who don't benefit from nitrous oxide to alleviate stress from minor surgery.

Many people can enjoy the effects of cannabis without smoking, as well. I use medicated gummies to sleep and make a salve from leaves and junky buds that is very skin-soothing and makes a lovely massage oil. It's a pretty amazing plant, and hemp is the north american equivalent of bamboo. Ever had a hemp shirt? You cannot wear it out.

Kimmio, I might try AI for some of it. The friend with the tomato onion garlic rice pasta etc. is the most difficult. The cow's milk protein is me, and it's not anaphylactic, so I decide if I want to pay. And often these people are entertained separately. And the big guy is used to navigating the milk protein thing, so a lot of stuff is okay by our habit.

But one year I made three different pans of scalloped potatoes. For like 8 people.

in good news my backyard is almost ready for seeding/top dressing. This has been a big/long process involving much help. I am glad that the 3 anchor rocks moved by my son and his sadly deceased best friend, which when moved many years ago were decided never to move again are going to be the fountain area.

Good morning! Sunday has come, and brought the first serious frost this season with it. The overnight temps dipped below freezing last night, I believe, for the first time. Looks like the week to come will be cooler than last week. But enough about the weather. Feeding people with different dietary restrictions, the smell of pot, the preparation of the yard, and all the things that arise this morning, we are here for it. We gather round the Coffee Cart for chat, connection, support, and togetherness. The tea water is hot, coffee freshbrewed, and the Bakery's provision of bagels and spreads for today is impressive. All is ready, and everyone is welcome! Come in and share in the conversations and goodies!

Good morning. I'm feeling closer to what passes as normal. I'll take it. I finished my f*** cancer hat and will take a photo in better light later. A friend just let us know her sister has been diagnosed with cancer. It is in her lungs, liver and stomach. Not good.

I'm heading to church today. If I can peel myself away from a book by a local author that is set in this city. It just got more interesting.

It's rainy here lately, so I'm thinking reading will be my afternoon.
